Nice place.I go to have a wax there with beautician.Excellent place. Reception could be more prompt and friendly though. Its not about being beautiful and very cool looking but super cold but its about being nice and friendly and helpful.Good luck!

Lovely hair salon right in the heart of Riga. Highly recommend. I was traveling through Latvia and stumbled upon this gem. Staff is welcoming and very experienced. My hair is quite thin, and typically requires a skilled hair cut to look full and healthy. Natasha was my hair dresser and did a fantastic job on cutting, layering, and styling my hair. Afterwards, she added scented hair oil for a beautiful sheen. Most, not all, of the staff speak English, so navigating the language barrier was very doable. The salon also offers freshly made coffee - it's delicious. I will be back next time I'm in Latvia!

Ich habe als Tourist im Sommer Riga besucht und durch Zufall besuchte Salon Esthetica im Zentrum von Riga. Der Eindrück ist äußerst positiv. Sehr nette Atmosphäre, qualifizierte Mitarbeiter, äußerst höflich und gefelgt. Schöne Räume , moderne Einrichtung, alles nagelneu. Meine Meisterin war Inga Bolhovitina, ist allen meinen Wünschen nachgegangen , hat sich sehr lange und mit viel Geduld und Mühe mit mir beschäftigt. Preisleistungverhältnis stimmt, Kafe hat gut geschmeckt . Kann ich mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen . N.kaprova, Germany, München

I was in Riga visiting friends when one of them recommended Esthetica to me. I wanted to get my nails and hair done for a beach vacation. I walked in and immediately felt welcomed by the staff--they were professional yet friendly and approachable. In addition, the salon itself is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated--sleek white walls meets clean professionalism.
Now, in regard to the work itself, I was very happy. Datsa was my hairstylist and colored me a fantastic red color. She took her time choosing a color for me, and we decided on one after a thoughtful discussion. Though she knew limited English, other stylists in the salon meditated our language barrier.
She was meticulous, thorough--all the traits one looks for in a colorist. The coloring process itself took longer than it does in the states, and this is where I noticed the difference in craftsmanship between American and Latvian stylists.
I then went to Diana for a manicure/pedicure. Once again, the quality of work was admirable. She spent a long time on my nails.
In general, I was extremely happy with Esthetica. It made my vacation so much more enjoyable, and it was interesting to compare American salons with Eastern European. I'm not sure when I'll be back in Riga, but I will absolutely visit Esthetica when I do.
