  Very friendly hosts, but not very experienced with hotel service. Examples are:
  - Bedsheets, which were not fixable to the bed,
  - toilet paper, which is not refilled automatically
  - very shaky stairs, to get up to the first floor
  - a strange smell in parts of the house
  Otherwise, very silent and peacefull area. A Bunker-museum, a Zoo and the beautifull Amata Walking trail within 5km distance

  Our stay in Eglaines was absolutely fabulous. The house Isis the middle of a picturesque woods of Gauja National Nature Reserve, so the place is perfect to enjoy the harmony of the nature. Not far from the house is a fantastic walk to enjoy beautiful sights over the river Amata from the top of beautiful sandstone cliffs. The host fans fantastic, very helpful and hospitable. She cooked us the most amazing ever breakfast: pancakes with the strawberry jam straight from their garden!

  Spectacular setting. If you want peace and quiet with an amazing breakfast, book it. Beautiful scenery and cozy feeling. Very nice hosts. Highly recommended.
