Really good beer, slightly more pricey than some bars in Riga but worth the extra buck. 3* because the barman was incredibly rude to me. Seemed to be trying to impress the Americans he was talking to at the bar. Accidentally gave him a £1 coin instead of a €1 and he threw it back in my face
Just bought a few bottles of beer for home tasting. A modern take on classic brews. Pilsner, IPA and Stout tasted quite different from what you would expect. My guess it is due to use of "modern" hops varieties. Very nice though.
Nice cosy place with cheap craft beers and artisan spirits
Helpful staff and good food. Restoraunt has diffrent name but its still there.
What a surprise! Looks plain but the food is gourmet and the beers most solid! My warmest recommendations.
By far the best brewpub we've seen in Riga. A pretty broad range of styles on offer, and an immensity friendly and helpful bartender. Highly recommended.
Currently under construction, the bar is banished temporarily to the basement. Beers was good, with a moderate selection. Atmosphere was low key. Seemed more restaurant than bar,but straddles the two worlds. Great service from bartender was a standout. I imagine it will be fantastic once renovation is completed.
Very nice brewery, run by american expat. Nice selection of beers both homemade and other local verities. Snacks are quite standard. Very nice service and atmosphere. Place is quite popular among expats. Recommended if you like good beer.
Not a big variety of beers for a bierhaus but place has breweries feeling. Also, some cisterns for a show off. Games and beer books.
Great place to drink some good beer with your friends.
The place is far from what it used to be. And now they have like 3-4 tap beers and 1-2 bottled beers available at a given moment. Plus it just isn't that good. From a place to hang around with people and taste hundreds of brands of obscure beer, It boiled down to a simple restraunt-type place that brews their own 4 brands of beer. Food is still fine tho.
Good food and good beer. Not the cheapest though.
