staff are lazy and unhelpful, you will be charged for any little thing, and the facilities are too basic to be considered a 4 or even 3 star hotel. i've seen better.

A very popular hotel. During high season it's worth booking a room long time in advance. The staff is friendly and helpful. Looks stylish, food is excellent.

Fantastic. Great value for money. Very polite, friendly, and professional staff. Before you head into town ask for advice regarding which club to go to. But avoid Coyote fly at all costs. Locals only. A very expensive tourist trap.

Fantastic location to the old town. Very helpful staff. The only negatives were the rooms were quite hot even with the temperature gauge turned right down and breakfast was a bit crowded. But fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel and city

Absoutely amazing!!! Excellent service and food, very kind waiter who didnt get annoyed at silly questions. Very impressed with the quality. The atmosphere was formal but also relaxed at the same time making it available for everyone no matter the background! Thank you a thousand times.

Very friendly and helpful staff..Great breakfast. .Great location just opposite the main bus station and at the edge of the old town. Was thinking about taking away a star because of the spider in my room..but he keeps to himself so it ok.

+I was here 3 night with my family. Rooms was clean and there was space enough. Bed was nice, same to pillows. I also like bath. Breakfast was quite wide and good. Dinner was also pretty quality, and waitress was friendly.

– Bar area was small, not much benches.

Good place. Workers were really friendly and helped us out. Breakfast was basic, there were options from which you could choice, but they were kinda limited. But dinner was just wonderful, beautifully made, everything was really delicious and fresh. In our room we had problems with outlet, only one of them worked. Even when we asked for help, they could not do anything with it. Room was soundproof.

The hotel is quite impressive, with professionally friendly staff. Rooms clean, spacious, nice bathroom with plenty of amenities. Exceptionally good restaurant (and not expensive) and breakfast, lots of choices and excellent waiter service. Internet connection was working fairly well, but slow at times. Secure underground parking. Location is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the old city.
Whoever designed the garage entrance probably never had a car, as it is really tight. Moreover, garage is 20€ per night, which is very expensive for Riga. In the room, there are several warnings, for smoking you'll get penalty, for improper towel use - another penalty. Personally I really don't like such things. Minibar things seriously overpriced.

Helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is magnificent, in the old town, 200 meters to attractions. Lunch in the restaurant: tasty, reasonable price. I will definitely return to this hotel again.

Avalon hotel is located in a convenient place, close to old city and and à market, also easy passage to the park.

The location is central, with many points of interest around. Also is closed to central station where most of the transport lines meet . The hotel is clean, personnel is very professional, it looks very good. Breakfast was also very good - diverse food, good quality.

Excellent hotel close to the train station. It is also a short walk to the main market on the other side of the station and the old town. Dinner was included with the room rate. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were professional and friendly.
