Food is fine (nothing special) but we were waiting 40mins for pizza during lunch break.. So if you have 1h break to eat something, better avoid this place.

Consistently the worst smelling toilets anywhere in Luxembourg. Do they ever clean them? Really puts you off the food (which is otherwise acceptable).

Edit May 2018: toilets now smell acceptable. Changing review from one to four stars. Food still quite ok, as long as you like queueing :-)

Great little Italian place with fresh ingredients. Open kitchen and everything is made in front of you. Drinks are great and reasonably priced.

The dishes are really good.
Especially the pizzas.
The offer many vegetarian and vegan options as well.
The staff is ok. Some of them are friendly, the others seem to be not really interested in their work.
The restrooms are not that clean sadly.

Standard DIY pizza pasta place ; Food was ok but the staff here were horrible ; esp. the bartender; he was borderline racist and shouting at customers ! am not going back again !

Classic Vapiano experience. Food is nice, venue is spacious and well taken care of. Most important, it is probably the only restaurant open in the entire Luxemburg during afternoons. Be careful with the guy at drinks counter - he has strange humor understanding.

Great place to eat. Some dishes are amazing some are okay. Has a baby seat so that's cool for me. A small play area would be great but there isn't any. Tables are small so not a very comfortable seating when we go as 4 plus a kid. Not recommended for a family eat out. Good for couples or singles.

I literally visited the place hundreds of times in the past years, what a disappointment. Quality fell off a precipice. They started a couple of years ago to burn pizza into charcoal and they manage to mess up simplest pasta dishes. Hoping to see them turn it back around.

Not the best pizza, but honest. It gives you what is reasonable to expect.Good among industrial and standardized products. Pleasant environment and reasonable prices. The best alternative to fast food in the area. Best dishes are pizzas, in particular a couple of specialities of the restaurant: pizza bruschetta (a margherita with chopped fresh tomatoes seasoned with garlic and rocket salad) and pizza spinaci e pesto (a margherita topped with spinach and pesto sauce). Cheese lovers will like the pizza dell'alpe (with 4 different kinds of mountain cheeses). The system is easy, you order the pizza and they will give you a machine that will start to buzz and flash when the pizza is ready and you can go and collect it. Pasta is fresh and it is cooked in front of you, 90 seconds to boil the pasta and few seconds more to dress it. Sauces are standardised but freshly cooked in front of your eyes, not comparable with homemade pasta but better than some Italian restaurants' one. It is a nice place also just to sit and to drink. At night there is a large area in which the children can be left to play, and usually children like pizza and pasta. Desserts are very good.

Today was the worst customer service I have ever experienced at ViaPiano. The mean brown haired lady who took my order was rude and short, like it bother her that I ordered a Tea with my Pizza. Then when paying, again she was there and was very unhappy and mean-spirited. If she does not like working at ViaPiano, she should change her JOB! We go as a team to have a great time not to be mistreated by this woman. I could not see her name tag, but I assure you next time, I will take a picture of her and post it. Rude is not a way to keep your customers.

Staff very rude, although had lunch there, i asked for a glass of tap water to have an aspirin and they denied to give me unless i pay full price for a bottle. I will never go there again, will choose the real and more polite Italian restaurants at the center of the town.

Reliable food and service. I recommend the pizza as it means you don't have to wait in line for the food. Ingredients always fresh. Salads are tasty (ask the cook to go easy on the dressing or there's a risk you salad will drown). One great advantage is the opening hours, as one can eat pasta or pizza at 4pm on a Sunday. And that is super valuable in Luxembourg.

Good place. Like it. But at peak time in the evening you have only 2 guys preparing pasta for a crowd of 30-40 people while other 3 counters remain unmanned. Very very long waiting times.

The best Vapiano experience in the city.
Great pasta and pizza and the place is adding some other varieties on the menu from time to time.
A help-yourself place which is open 7 days a week until 10.00pm.
Average per person is 15 euros for a meal.
The only problem I experience in Vapiano is the long waiting time for pizza and pasta.
