Excellent food and service although expensive, but we won't go back. They more or less pushed us to have dessert -- a specialty -- and said we could share one dessert. However, they charged us for 1.5 desserts and said it was because they needed to create a larger one for us to share -- all without any warning. I complained but they basically shook off the complaint. I could well afford the cost but it left a bad taste in my mouth. There are other very good places to eat in Luxembourg and on a price/value basis, Clairefontaine wasn't exceptional.

Note this experience is from September 2011. I wrote them a letter afterwards and never got a response.
