After staying here for 2 days we had to pay for one day (as the first 24 hours are free). After inserting our ticket in the machine it asked for the payment. However, after inserting the bill (which was rejected) the machine stopped working and displayed 'hors service'.
Unfortunately also the service button was out of service, leaving us stranded without a ticket whatsoever.
So.. We went to the car and went to the exit. There is also always another service button at the exit. Unfortunately, these buttons also did nothing. It's a great experience trying to back out of a parking exit with cars behind you.
Eventually we found the place where the employee should be. Instead we used the phone right next to it, which connected me to an only-French-speaking employee. I was not able to explain what the problem was, so he hang up.
Through Google we found the phone number of the company behind this garage, but we got no connection.
So we tried the French speaking employee again, and yet again he hang up on us. After a third call he finally tried to listen to my terrible French and sent out a colleague. He also did not speak French, but by using hand signals I got the message through. He opened the gate for us.
Eventually leaving this garage costed us almost an extra 45 minutes.
Convenient parking without space availability boards
Best connection to the Bus if you don't live in town
Free parking for 24 hrs and good public transport options. Also, easy to get to motor way.
Good connection to the Bus
Well located, free and many parking bays (except during office hours)
Safe and free parking for 24 hours in Luxembourg.
Good parking location with access to busses, free the first 24h hours
Free parking first 24h and easy to get to the center by bus.
Useful but shame that you need to pay for more than 24h
Very convenient and easier to get to than fighting traffic in the city center. Only a 10 minute bus ride to and from downtown. There is both a garage and an open parking lot, with plenty of space.
Plenty of space and well connected
Very practical. Only problem I see is lack of a train station.
Free parking (24 hours) at the entry of Luxemburg city.
