First impression is disappointing. Room is small, especially a bad ( not king size definitely), shower is horrible (trying to take a shower and bathroom becomes a pool))), everything looks really old to be fare. Restaurant (in a hall) is messy, staff absolutely doesn’t understand what’s going on, we was waiting for waitress about 20 min, everyone just ignored us.

Mixed feelings about the service. Support staff to mount a screen very good. Management mixed. Bar as well. Service staff at a wedding partially very good and partially very bad. Maybe more coordinates staff training needed? Upper rooms are good. Pool and wellness area as well.

A very large hotel, that's slightly out of town. But like me if you are driving it's perfect as parking is rather difficult anywhere near the center. Good size rooms and good facilities. Good breakfast too.

If you are looking for a hotel in Luxembourg that has a quiet setting in a forest then DoubleTree Luxembourg is your hotel. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport and provides a free shuttle service. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from the city centre by car however there are local buses as well and the hotel also provide a shuttle service to the city centre during weekends. The hotel has a nice restaurant and bar on the lobby level and provides 24 hour room service. The rooms are big and modern but some of the furniture are a little dated and in need of an update. The bathrooms are small but well planned. Whilst there are few power sockets around the bed there are USB sockets for charging your phone. There are nice views from the rooms as they overlook the forest surrounding the hotel. All rooms have safes and minibars as well as plenty of storage space. There is a pool and sauna in the basement as well as a small fitness centre with both machines and equipment. Overall a good hotel with easy access to both the city and the airport.

My family and I took a long weekend trip to beautiful Luxembourg over our Presidents Day weekend. We have been members of Hilton H-Honors for a while, so we decided to stick to their chain of hotels. Sadly, we were disappointed at the quality of this Hilton owned hotel. The “Superior King” room we reserved was “upgraded” to a “King Deluxe ”, which still had a Euro King bed and at the end of the stay they tried to charge us for this “free upgrade” that we didn’t book. Luckily they dropped this additional cost after a short dispute. (A few other guest seemed to be having the same problems we noticed as we were leaving is this some kind of scam to see if we are paying attention to our final bill?)

The hotel restaurant was way over priced for the quality of food they offered. The breakfast and dinner buffets were about $30 a person, very bland and didn’t offer a good variety of dishes that were delicious. Nothing made me want to go back for seconds if I even ventured to put it on my plate at all. Additionally, the menu items were over priced for mediocre food. The burger meal alone was over $30! That is just too much for “bar food”. Two small cups coffee to-go was $12! (And we are Gold Members at Marriott coffee is FREE!)

We did find some good options out in town, but no thanks to their “Local Guide”. We had to rely on Google for any assistance with that. Staff was decently friendly and treated us well, but not over the top.

The room was clean and a decent size. The bed was advertised as a King, but was more like an American Queen. (Apparently Euro King beds are smaller.) Also the fridge was a little too small for traveling with a baby (need space for milk and snacks), but it was functional. Another oddity of the room was there were no dressers, but a rather large closet. (Maybe another European thing?) They did allow us to bring our dog for a small fee (~$20) and gave us a crib for the baby at no additional cost. At least they are family friendly (furry or not).

The pool was freezing cold! We actually went to a public pool the next town over, because it was too cold to use during our stay.

The hotel is nice, but really it off the way. They have free parking which is needed in order to commute because public transportation is scarce there. Their WiFi speeds are lacking and I can't do much with it because of that.

A nice hotel just outside of Luxembourg city. A great bar and restaurant in the lobby area. Also very close drive to the war cemetery.

Great hotel, attentive staff, good food in the restaurant. Rooms have a modern looks, and beds we're very conferrable. Only issue I had was service being a bit slow in the restaurant, but that was due to it being so busy.

Bit dated decor and surrounded by high rise apartment blocks. There is nothing to see in the near neighborhood. Hotel itself has great staff and a comfortable bed. Slept well.

Beautiful, elegant, romantic. All the things you come to expect from Luxembourg. When you check in they greet you a warm cookie. The lobby is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. They have a shuttle to take you to the city center or there is a public bus that has a stop close by and runs 24 hours. The shower was soooo wonderful. The toiletries are luxurious. Really, this is a nice place to stay. It is your typical US upper class style. I have nothing negative to say. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good hotel but prices should be reviewed. It isn't worth paying in this price range although the staff work hard to make it look like it. The bathrooms are dated and should be upgraded. The retaurant's food was mildly warm and definitely not worth the price.

This is a very nice hotel in a very nice city. The breakfast was excellent, best I ever had in a hotel. The people working there are kind and at your disposal. And then there is the beautiful city of Luxembourg as well.

Good hotel but certainly not worth the €450 we paid for one night. This is a business hotel with ongoing conferences. But that means the hotel is relatively calm during the day. A pool and gym are provided, the pool is always quiet throughout the day, the gym too (gym is not as impressive as advertised). Hotel rooms have a very nice view on the Luxembourg landscapes but the lack of free wifi is truly surprising forests surround the hotel which makes walking in the woods very accessible and pleasant. The location of the hotel is relatively far from the city centre and a car is needed.

Hotel was chic. 3 star ratings, because first they allocated an already occupied room. And the second room wasn't cleaned after the earlier guest left. Though they tried to compensate by giving the room on the 18th floor, which was really high and rising up to the adjacent hill, and the view was fantastic. Inside the room was still small and the additional bedding provided wasn't comfortable at all. Breakfast was just OK

Room was huge with separate bed and the study area with a 3 seat sofa. It was cleaned and hygiene and come with very good spread of breakfast. It is also a 20 mins away from the city centre by public bus at a cost of €2 each way. There isn't any convenience store within walking distance.

Great hotel that is less than 10 mins outside city center by car. It's clean, has friendly staff and has a great interior. You also get a warm chocolate cookie when you check in.

Amazing hotel! Free cookie when checking in, clean comfortable modern rooms, and amazing selection for breakfast. The pool is also a lovely touch after a day in Luxembourg. Its located a little far from the city center, but a simple bus ride takes you to and from really easily, with a bus stop right outside the door! For the price you pay its certainly the best value for money in Luxembourg City!

This hotel is nice and luxurious and can be booked at good rates considering what you get. The hotel is not very central, but does have free parking. The city center can be reached within 10 minutes driving and parking in Luxembourg city is good and cheap. Breakfast is included depending on how and where you book. I quite liked the breakfast offering.

This hotel is absolutely recommended, and even though I read the reviews could not disagree more with them. Yes, it's true that they far from the centre, but they provide a complimentary Airport pick up service. The frequency of bus number 12 is also more than acceptable. The breakfast was fantastic, specially the fresh fruit salad. In the room, with bath, there's complimentary water, coffee, hot chocolate and toiletries, spotless, with a nice and calm view of the forest. Staff was attentive to detail also. For this price, we're quite pleased and happy. 100% will book again.
