I was very excited to go to this restaurant, but was sadly very disappointed due to the lack of service. We waited for almost an hour after having had to order our food and drinks inside. My friend tried to get a waiter's attention and she flat out ignored her while mumbling under her breath in her own language. She also got very annoyed when my friend tried to get her attention again and proceeded to ignore us. When we went inside to complain, the manager explained that they're very busy and they don't have enough staff which is upsetting as this restaurant is opposite the royal palace and should surely, therefore, have great service and enough staff members? Although I enjoyed my time in Luxembourg very much, I would definitely avoid going to this restaurant and if you decide to go, to rather only buy their products than to cause yourself the trouble to be treated the way we were after having paid great amounts of money.

Fantastic breakfast, delicious hot chocolate, very good and courteous service and reasonably priced. Strongly recommended if you're looking for a great breakfast or for a treat! Wish they had a store in Antwerp or Brussels 😋

Leaving Luxembourg in the morning and just discovered this wondful place! Great food, dessert and the hot chocolate was awesome. Would have visited three days in a row if I would have known about it. Fantastic food and wonderful service! Do yourselves a favor and visit this place!

Well, nothing can be said about the quality of the chocolate and the 🍰 because we did not get a chance to taste them although we waited for a long time for the waitress to pass by. When she did she said that Breakfast/Brunch was not served anymore and we would need to order "á la carte". We figured she said that to make us leave because there was a big group coming after and she just did not want us there. Basically the staff here really does not care about paying customers. They want to be left alone and they try their best to make sure you don't bother them. Slow and unprofessional would be two good words to describe the general atmosphere. Probably they are going to improve when they hire professional people from another part of Europe.

Was very busy when I was there so service took a long time but staff were very friendly. Drinks were great and food was good. Would recommend

Usually very busy but you can share tables or take away. Upstairs is very quaint and has lovely decor. The staff are quite chaotic and slow but it's worth it. The hot chocolates are fabulous, and have a ton of varieties. Ginger and dark chocolate is my favourite, there is a variety of milk choices too. The Cakes are amazing also, my sesame cake was gorgeous and you always get a huge slice. You can always get a take away box if you can't finish it. The carrot cake is another of my favourites as it's so moist and yummy.

Unusual place. Haven't found such chocolate house wherever I have been. I like the fact that there is around 50+ different flavours to choose from. Easy and quick service. All you have to do is pick and choose one of your flavoured spoon on the shelf, sit down and wait for the waiter to bring the hot milk to the table. Once there stir the chocolate spoon in your cup until melted and it's ready to be tasted. They have some tasty cakes and patisseries too.

This place is always fully packed. I would say best times to head in is early and late afternoon so you can easily get a table.

Easier to get a table if you a group of 4 or less. It becomes more difficult with bigger groups.
Nevertheless, you can still buy the spoons even if you are not staying in.

One of the best hot chocolates I have ever had. They have 50 different flavours of chocolate spoons, served with warm milk. You dip the chocolate spoon in the milk and wait for it to dissolve. The taste is just amazing.

They have one of most good looking cakes ever and they tasted mind blowing. I did not have many expectations from the vegetarian burger, but if turned out to be better than most I have had in Europe. The location is amazing but no parking anywhere close by. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.

This place serves one of the best hot chocolates in town. Gulp it down sitting outside with warmers looking at the kings palace and the unflinching guards who ramp up and down. It all adds up. They have a variety of chocolates used as dips/spoons in a cup of hot milk. They have a splurge of cakes which is also a must try.

Hot chocolate was amazing! Kind of confusing on what to do when you want to eat there. We went upstairs and found an open table and sat down. Service was a little slow, but they were really busy.

Delicious chocolate drinks and tasty cakes in reasonable prices. The second floor has tables that you can sit and relax. You should try the chocospoon, it's just a cup of warm milk with a spoon of chocolate of your choice that you can melt in it.¡Just delicious!

Really nice coffee house! Their coffee is great and their vegan cake is to fall on the floor.. I loved it (heavy, but delicious). The only negative thing about the place is the price. Pretty expensive coffee and cake, BUT it's Luxembourg so I guess it's ok.

Best chocolate place around. The boutique is beautiful and very typical. You can enjoy the best kinds of chocolate in an extremely cozy place.

This is a paradise whether you love chocolates or not. A must visit if you go to Luxembourg. The chocolate dip is especially famous and they have many many varieties for all tastes.

Chocolate spoons are delicious, coffee is very good, nice paintings, a bit pricy but not crazy - their chocolate is worth it.

Prices reasonable for Lux, with a large piece of cake at 4.90 (euros). Tea is good, and cake was not bad. Good selection.

Very good hot cocoa. Everything else only alright. Service was good, but paying the bill was a pain. You have to take your order slip to the retail shop, and pay at the register. It was a Sunday morning, and we had to wait in line for a half hour behind a bunch of tourists buying candy. If we could have paid our bill at the table, and been able to continue to relax and enjoy the veiw while we waited, it would have been better.

Tip: for two people, get one French breakfast with an extra plate of eggs for the second person. Getting two French breakfast is a waste. It comes with plenty enough bread for two people.

Would definitely come back for the cakes. The portions are HUGE and there's an amazing selection. Service was bad but with the number of customers at the store, it's understandable.

It's great for most! I LOVE chocolate! Just not theirs. Think they need to update their dessert options, 7 years later their cake selection seems exactly the same . YET, it's still great! For Luxembourg it's super AWESOME!
