We stayed in the hotel, not the camping site. The cooking didnt work. There was also no water cooker. So we couldn't make ourself a cup of coffee in the room. But hotel was quiet, room was big and clean. Easy parking. Breakfast was scrumptious.

We came to this place at 20:30 and it was already closed :( we just put tent.
So, for your 18 Eur (2 people + tent + eco tax) you'll get:
- toilets without toilet paper
- shower without hot water (even in taps)
- no kitchen
- no place to sit/charge your phone/eat
- extremely unfriendly manager that thinks only about money
You can pay 35 eur and enjoy some facilities with hot water, the rest of sum you'll get back, though I don't know how much they will charge per minute.
Finally, the manager told us that we should leave the camping before 11am (it was 10:45) or pay for one day more! We were travelling by motorbike and it was raining but he didn't care. Then he closed the reception and went away.
Stay as far away as you can from this place!response / report this review -

Very nice located along the river not far from Vianden and Vianden Castle alias Château De Vianden. There is a restaurant (closed on Tuesdays) as neighbour to the reception.

Small, quaint campside. Friendly staff. Dogs are allowed. Fantastic facilities (restaurant, petrol station with convenience store).

Leuke eenvoudige maar zeer nette camping. Heerlijke plaats aan de rivier, supergroot in de lengte, een meter of 7 in de breedte. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Nadeel is dat er geen supermarkt is in vianden. Van alles war in de tankstations en een klein iets van avondwinkeltje in het stadje. Voor verswaar moet je naar Diekirch. Maar nogmaals camping iets heel leuk. Met restaurant en bar.

Eenvoudige camping met gedateerd sanitair maar de prijs is daar ook naar. Vriendelijke beheerder en mooie plaatsen aan het water.
Voor warm water moest je betalen, jammer dat het water dan niet echt warm is.response / report this review -

Very nice campsite close to Vianden castle. Quiet place. Not expensive prices. Not possible to leave this camp before 8 a.m., only with special deal with personnel.

Camping cars are an after thought. Chemical emptying is at one and of the site with no water to fill up. Instead you have to tour the whole site and park by the toilet block which prevents other vehicles from passing. The tap is not very accessible and I couldn't see a specific tap for hoses. So I left.
I was placed in a very soggy area and then it rained heavily overnight making it difficult to leave and left very deep gouges in the grass.
Unfortunately there are no other camp sites around.
The staff came across as very grumpy and unhelpful.response / report this review -

Camping is slecht verzorgd, bv geen spoelbak met warm water voor de afwas en sanitair is deels zeer oud. Goed om niet te lang te blijven. Wel mooie plekken aan het water. Zorg dan wel voor een lange stroomkabel!
