First of all, great location! Not only that I don't need an alarm to wake up at 10 am, also a very "self service" hotel in the middle of downtown. One thing I need to point out is that the WiFi there are very very very weak, take 5 minutes to load a restaurant menu. I mean it will be a good place to stay if you just want to tour around the city, no further.

Where to begin?
1) It took a very long time until we were able to order food and drinks
2) pancake was cold
3) everyone had finished eating when the last person received his dish
4) the chips that came along with the omelet arrived when the rest of the dish was already finished
5) the cutlery arrived when the dish was already served

Apples to cafe specifically:
The wait staff is attentive and polite but I’m afraid as for the food itselftheir gratin are just horribly made. I can-and have done better-and that is not saying much. Certainly not worth the price and it serves as a good representative for most of the menu options overall.response / report this review -

Good value room right in the heart of Luxembourg City. Generally basic amenities, but as expected for a 3 star hotel. Included breakfast similarly simple but decent. Main drawback was that the mattress was quite stiff and left me a bit sore in the morning.

Nice "gratin luxembourgeois" (which reminded me some tartiflettes) Calm place. It seems chic but meals are affordable. This restaurant is ideal for a one to one diner. The waiter has been really patient with our group. I recommand.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay this past weekend the staff was friendly. Location was perfect, room was very clean & roomy (shower was a bit small but didn’t take away from our stay), breakfast was nice (eggs upon request) with view of Christmas Market. Some renovations are taking place but workers keep hotel very clean.

Excellent restaurant! We had a wild boar stew, nordic salad and panna cotta. The main meals were very big, generous portions full of meat and fish and the dessert was simply divine, best one I ever had!

The quality of the room is quite good , not too big but enough for two people. The location is just perfect as it is in the city center. However, the reception is not professional at all , we have come four times in a day and all the times there was none and we've had to wait for minutes and minutes , so to sum up not happy with the stuff but facilities quite comfy !

We arrived in Luxembourg in the late afternoon on a Sunday and were distressed that so many businesses and restaurants were closed. We settled on the restaurant here in part because it was open, but were reluctant because in our experience, restaurants on a public square can be touristy. Inside it was elegant. The food was solidly delicious and the service was spot on. Definitely worth checking out.

The standard of a restaurant's kitchen can be set by the omelette they can produce, they say.
Well, that's bad news for this place. Tasteless and rubbery, devoid of flavour save where it had started to burn on the sides. I do far, far by better myself at home, and these guys are supposed to be a professional French restaurant. Non!response / report this review -
