In the past, they were so nice there but since the hotel has a new owner they are so unfriendly. We went to the hotel/restaurant and wanted to drink something there, but they ignored us! They served the others but they did like se weren't there!

Super endroit, petit déjeuner plus que copieux. Bien situé pour se rendre sur les circuit du trail de mullerthal. Grande piscine et personnel très chaleureux

Wir hatten einen wundervollen, ruhigen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen für Ausflüge in der einzigartigen Natur, die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal freundlich. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber gut.

Nice hotel, fair enough it's a bit dated but same goes for a lot of hotels in Luxembourg and Belgium. Room was very clean, very friendly staff and comfortable beds. Pool is a good size. Berdorf with a few restaurants/hotels just 10 min walk. Echternach with heaps of restaurants and shops is 7km away, great to walk to for a day (through beautiful valley)

Not a bad place at all, staff is friendly, but a few things were off. The hotel is far away from anything (30km away from downtown) and they advertise a restaurant with room service and indoor heated swiming pool. They forget to advertise the restaurant closes at 8pm and the pool is "under maintenance" so the water is cold. Result: if you get there after 8pm you're screwed coz the hotel won't serve any food and even if you drive 30km to downtown, most places close at 10pm.
We were supposed to get a room with balcony and the only available room was on the wrong side of the hotel, no balcony.
The breakfast is fine and it has a big variety of breads and jams, but it has a do-it-yourself kind of thing for eggs, bacon, etc. There is only 1 hot plate so if there are more people having breakfast its gonna take you a while to get your eggs and bacon.response / report this review -
