  Impressive - if you've never had fish before or have eaten at a real Lithuanian restaurant. Limited menu, which is fine, if the restaurant is preparing something amazing, but it is not. Selection of 2-3 frozen fish, which cost about €8 ($10) per 100g. A daily soup / appetizer selection, and a dessert is available. That's about it. As a Lithuanian who was born and raised in Lithuania, I must say the fish soup "žuvienė" was decent, but lacked real flavor and was bland - not enough salt, fish stock tasted watered down, no grain, or sour cream that is traditionally served with this dish (heard the same complaint from the tables nearby). We picked Starkis as our main fish. Again, the preparation lacked chef's inspiration, and was simply grilled without any seasoning or spices, just a splash of oliver oil. I must say the fish was grilled perfectly (by a very upset and hungover-looking cook), yet lacked flavor we normally expect from Starkis. Again, I've had this particular fish many times in the past, and this was the blandest most unexciting experience for us. I wanted to impress my grandparents with a restaurant that's rated #5 in the country, but after dashing out €82 ($95) for three people without drinks, we left disappointed. Save yourself and your time and visit another local village tavern instead.

  Amazing fish that is freshly caught and prepared in front of you. More importantly, it has an amazing ambiance. Would recommend to anyone.

  Fresh and tasty food, professional staff and peace of mind, - this is what you'll find there. They have nice sea fish themed guesthouse as well. Highly recommended!
