In general it's a cozy, comfortable place. However the music is loud and prices are not low.

Open pub in one of the mains street in Vilnius. Almost always busy and ready serve. Staff is very polite and helpful.
Prices are reasonable. Beer always 3,5-5,0 euros and menu is extensive. Order cheese-jalapeno snacks if you like spicy wood, or just simple chicken wings. Soups, salads, burgers and steaks are also on menu and prices varies from 4 euros to 15 euros.
There are always some sports showing on many TV screens.response / report this review -

I love republic, they have all kinds of beer! Good food and sports on the television. Try the fried bread with cheese it's amazing.
Also the prices are reasonable. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did during my year in Vilnius! And also small tip: if you are so lucky to be in Vilnius never stop exploring the city will always surprise youresponse / report this review -

The only rePUBlic of Vilnius (there are 3 others in Kaunas) right in the busiest street. Upstairs or downstairs this place is great for a drink or for some quality pub grub. Also one of my favorite hangout places in Vilnius

Good place for music and talks in british style. Shows live sport channels without sound. Food could be better but honestly i ate here more than year ago

Nice beer bar with a great selection of local and imported beers. The place also proposes a good selection of gin and whiskeys.

Living in Vilnius for quite some time, but went to Republic just two times-didn't like both. The first time the waitress tried to cheat. When we booked a table in advance and came in, she took I think a 20 eur booking fee (which at first she said can be paid cash only), which she should had put on our tab (she even said, she will). But she didn't, because when we wanted to pay, she brought full check. As you come to bar to relax, chill and have some beer, we just forgot and remebered just the next day. We went back to the bar and confronted her, she faulted us for not remembering (seriuosly? It's waitresses job to handle money) and paying cash. She gave the money back, but we were left with the feeling that oh well, if you forget the money, which were asked for obligatory, in bar it's your problem. And when you remind the waitress not to steal, she faults you (again, seriously?)
The second time nobody tried to cheat, but waitresses are a bit arrogant there, the food and beer selection not that good, as well.response / report this review -

Depends on bartender - maybe he will make you excellent long drink or maybe he will charge you extra for nothing..
