  Monai is without a doubt the best restaurant in Lithuania for me. It is simply a must every time I am in Klaipėda. The interior is cozy and stylish, the staff is very friendly. The menu isn't long but the food is the highest quality. They are changing it from time to time but there is one starter, a tuna tar tar, that is always on menu and it is the dish I am coming for. They serve it as 2 rolls but I always order 4 instead. This dish is simply incredible. They have a nice wine selection but mostly in bottles. They are also flexible with special dietary requirements and adjust to people with lactose intolerance. They are short in vegetarian options, but I am pretty sure they would sort things out on the spot. It is fully booked most of the time so a table should be reserved minimum a few day prior the visit. Highly recommended.

  we've been away on vacation for a month and a half and tonight we had our best meal since leaving home. we had prosciutto ham and home made bread with a home made butter sprinkled with small seeds it was delicious/1 then we had a baked scallop with caramelized cauliflower and a tasty salad dressing that was also delicious.
  
  finally we had stuffed lamb rump with roasted vegetables, asparagus, carrots and so forth all was to kill for!
  
  the service was perfect; there was no wait although 24 people in one group came in shortly after we had our appetizers followed by three beauty queens celebrating with the bride-to-be. we asked if we could take their picture and then they asked us to take one with their camera.
  
  lots of fun in the old town tonight! we also drove through what we didn't realize was a barricaded area at the old town park where they were celebrating in style with a military parade. lots of canons and other major military might on the banks of the river. once more, lots of fun.

  We have been there three times. It can be overated. When you come with the high expectations it could be hard they they would meet them, such as 2 times out of 3 same dishes at the table looked undercooked. You must reserve the table, even during the lunch, so it looks always strange because when u come and they always have no table but after you had dinner or lunch you will see the some of the empty tables has never showed up.

  Excellent! Very nice dinner with my colleagues.
  Small quantity of table which is allow the employee To take care of you.
  The kitchen le visible, so you can watch the chef and his team working.

  Hands down best restaurant in town. Superb innovative meals served in a casual place. Fine-dining level experience delivered casually at lower than you'd expect price. The service is excellent. Make sure you get your reservation in advance. And do yourself a favor and try their pistachio pannacotta for desert.

  This has been, by far, my most pleasant culinary experience in Europe. The food was excellently presented and everything tasted good (I even ate the mushrooms.. and I don't like mushrooms!!!).

  Very good food, lovely music, nice interior, friendly service. Prices are not the cheapest (duck 13 and lamb 15 euros), but the portions are decent and they also serve very nice (homemade?) bread with butter with it, so you'll not starve. It's worth the money.

  Just good.
  Does not live up to the hype that is created.
  Some things are better, some worse (e.g. beetroot soup or beef stew with chickpeas). All in all - better that average, must admit.
  Atmosphere - nothing special. Right on a busy street, without outside seating.
