One of the three underground miscile bases in the world! The feeling you get is beyond words
One of my highlights in Lithuania
I have to admit, I am into cold war monuments. And this nuclear silos are indeed one of the best sites so far. Good visitor reception, nice rooms and authentic presentation is it what makes this place a real gem.
an absolutely amazing place to visit with a dark history below the surface, great tour happy friendly guide we visited in 2012 from Australia and had a great time seeing other great locations close to this wonderful walk back to the deep dark depths of the silos .
Very good place to know cold war history, to know how the silo based nuclear weapon looked like
A great museum which exactly makes you feel how the cold war was.
Museum in an unique location (former nuclear basis) with a good audio guide. They are still expanding the exhibition, some better signage inside would be welcome.
Great place to visit to see an original Soviet Nuclear Base! Just wish they had taken this deeper into it worth a look though!
Fantastic tour. The guide was friendly and took time to explain things in English for us as well. I would definitely recommend going.
This museum was a unique experience. Lots of visual and authentic exhibits. It all takes place in a Soviet nuclear missile base, therefore it lets you truly feel the atmosphere of the cold war. Overall it is an exciting place to visit if you are nearby.
Experience cold war era like never before. This place is hard to find but it's worth it. This ex-soviet nuclear-missile base will amaze you
This was great! It's a bit hard to get to so we rented a car and made the drive from Vilnius. The guide was helpful and helped us rent an audio guide in English. Almost all of the displays have English captions as well. The museum was very well done and worth your visit if you have the time. This was the highlight of my trip to Lithuania, but then again, I'm a nerd.
Good place for some history from soviet times. Nice that no one rocket was released from this point!
You get to see soviet nuclear launch site. And if that is not enough there are numerous exhibits abou cold war 10/10 would visit again. All exhibits have signs in english plus you can borrow audio guide.
