Unfortunately, this museum in now closed!!
The exhibits have been moved to Kaunas according to the official at the gate.
Fun hour spent here. A lot of the cars are open, and you can check out the insides, some are even in tact. Couldn't access the locked part, but was still interesting to see. They are moving to Kaunas from April 1st, so if anyone is interested to go - now is the time.
There's not much to see and most machinery is in decaying condition but it's free and still entertaining.
Ok
Interest museum to whom love old military wehicicles.
To see a T-55 tank in almsot the center of Vilnius? To get into APC? See many of cool military vehicles? For free? Of course I'm taking that!
Cool
Place to learn about war machinery and more
It is nothing to do with a transportmusum, but only a lot old warequipment from periode up to 1985, free entrance but also not more worth
Brilliant! Very interesting, mostly outdoor, museum. Lots of vehicles to look at. All informations in Lithuanian only. Free entry.
A surprising and surprisingly large collection of army transport and some other stuff like guns, radio locator antennas, etc. Access- free. Tip- if you come by car, there parking at the entrance and inside despite the "no cars" sign.
A good place to visit if you like this kind stuff, and actually one of the best museums in Vilnius in general.
