“Ugne made the tour outstanding”

I had taken walking tours in Helsinki, Tallinn and Riga in the last 10 days.
Vilnius was the last stop on my tour of the Baltics, and the tour guided by Ugne on Saturday May 19 was the best of all my walking tours.
It was a nice morning, and a big group of about 20 people from at-least 7 different countries were guided superbly by Ugne. She has an excellent knowledge of the sights of Vilnius and the history of Lithuania, but a great guide needs more than just knowledge to keep a big group enthralled.
She/he needs panache, a sense of humour, and the ability to keep the audience involved.
Ugne did all this and more brilliantly, and two and a half hours slipped by very quickly. I would have liked to join her " Alternative Tour of Vilnius" the same afternoon, but had to pass, as I hadn't checked in to the hotel, and had a 12-hour flight coming up the next morning.

I often visit Vilnius and didn't expect to see something really new and interesting. It was good idea to join free walking tour with Ugne.
