Nice location on river Vilnele bank. Prices not low, but Lithuanian dishes are delicious over there. Just nice and relaxed place for sitting and drinking some beer with friends
Charming place at the small river in the Uzupis, Bohemian district in Vilnius. Unique atmosphere and live music.
Probabaly my least favorite place in Uzupis. It's located in the perfect spot - next to the river, closest to the old town probably that's the reason it got so complacent. Interior could use some renewal, bathrooms are terrible if there was an app to rate cleanliness of bathrooms this place would probably be the last one in Vilnius. This place could be so much more than it is right now.
The pub is in a great spot, right next to the old town, in one of the bohemian spots of Vilnius. It's situated on a steep bank of a swift River Vilnia. In the summer time, one can sit outside on the terrace, right above the river. Right across the river, there is a beautiful Gothic Russian Orthodox cathedral, and under the bridge, there are Swings of Fate. The crowd is very artistic, so it is quite easy to pick a conversation, even if you show up alone. Sometimes there is even live music.
The parliament of uzupis republika is not only in a great location, but also gives you great Variety of local food and beers.
Only just arrived and served a starter. So far so good.
Nice homemade wine, we tried the red one. Very friendly staff. Cosy place near the small fast river, but it is often rather cold outside.
The only good thing about this restaurant is the river view.
Turkey patty that I ordered along with rice, soup & orange juice was undercooked. I obviously asked the waiter not to charge me for the main course that I didn’t even eat. After few minutes of arguing with the waitress & chef, I was finally given an updated receipt with soup, as well as orange fresh, that I of course paid for.
This place was so understaffed, I would’ve had to wait another 45 minutes to get something else, so I left hungry.
We came here several times, both at noon and in the afternoon. Although at times one has to wait a bit to be served, overall, the service was friendly.
Our favourite thing here were the spare ribs (Užupio griuvėsiai), which were absolutely great! This dish sells out quickly.
Otherwise, also the potato dumplings (cepelinai) at this place tend to sell out very quickly. We gave them a try once, and I would say here they are better than in the nearby places (some of which claim to specialize in traditional cuisine). Personally, if you want to have cepelinai around the Old Town, I would say come here, around noon.
The drink choices are okay. The kvass is from a bottle (a little too sweet), whereas the Gluehwein (imported from Germany) is to be avoided at all cost. For beer, the list is pretty standard.
We would definitely go there again, especially on a warmer day.
Best fried bread and cheese dip I have found in Vilnius. The menu is not very large. The ceppelinai were very gooey and oily. You can't beat the view of the river.
Amazing place for a drink and for small snack! Try the shotsplate with different local herb shots 👍
This is an oldest newest cafe in Uzhupis, opened by Krasnikov family in 1995, and still managed by this family. In the beginning it was as big as its bar now is. From 1997 it serves also as the Parliament of Uzhupis Republic, attracting crowds of tourists. Artists come here to freely play an old piano, make concerts, people celebrate jubilees and anniversaries in the banquet hall with French windows loooking on the river Vilnelė.
In winter one can sit by the fireplace in the right hall. There are 3 wonderful terraces by the river that can host 100 people at one time, and the Swing of Fate under a bridge. Terraces usually open at May 1-st, some years earlier, and work till the first frosts.
Very nice place just by the river. Ideal place to chill, it can be a morning coffee or an evening drink. Service is a little bit slow but the atmoshere worth to wait.
On the river. In summer very nice to sidown outside
Purely Italian style pizza. Cosy place at boheme area of the city.
A very cozy place by the river with a terrace that allows to enjoy the sights and relax.
Nice place and view. But thats not a reason for such boring menu. Beer - also very standard choices. Service - ok, though waitress obviously tired.
A very cozy place by the river with a terrace that allows to enjoy the sights and relax.
They have a very good beer selection with quite a few local draft beers and also nice desserts and coffees at quite payable prices.
