A nice place to pick up some souvenirs! The cashier called us a taxi to return to the bus station.

Best time to go is in the spring. But if you like frozen lakes, winter isn't so bad either! A lot of photo opportunities!

Personally as Lithuanian it is strange to see so little of history in Trakai castle. The city is beautiful, but the castle is full of tourists. And the price to enter there ain't cheap :) but everything else is pretty cool :)

Just infront of the Trakai Castle. Gave us the map for what to visit in the city. Tickets for castle not sold here.

This is not only tourist-info office, but also excellent local souvenir's shop. Linen, wool, amber souvenirs, handbags, hand-knitted clothers and lot of everything else. And the most important - all is made by local artisans, disabled persons 😊
