Visited Vilnius a couple of weeks ago and was looking for a cozy place to spend my afternoon at. The Old Green House didn't disappoint
Great Little Restaurant with nice traditional food. We ordered bread bowl mushroom soup and unfortunately they had no bread bowls left which was a shame. The mushroom soup was lovely and we ordered cheesy baked bread which was so good. The waiting staff was attentive and the dark beers were very nice. Staff spoke good English and they were helpful I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Vilnius
Restaurant located in the heart of Vilnius, in old town near Cathedral square. Atmosphere and interior inside made me feel very cozy. Menu is suitable for both quick snack and fancy dinner, price are about average. All in all a great place to visit
Overview
—————
Defiantly a lovely restaurant with warm and cozy decor. split over three levels the top is group dining ranging from 4 to 9 people on large sofas. Ground floor is tables and chairs in the style of a bar and the basement features an indoor cigar room.
Menu is split between “western styles” and “traditional” chooses. Local offerings are well priced £5-£8 but can see how the steaks and duck can increase to £15-£20. I was served by Eduardas who knew what he was talking about
Drinks serve local beers and a good 2 pages on wine.
Good

Having read the reviews here I feel it is a mixed bag, when quite, service is personalised and waiters have the time to speak to you.
Food is filling and very heavy so would recommend going hungry.
Bad

Limited local choice but that’s nothing to really complain about. Food is not earth shattering but you get what you pay for.
One of the best restaurants in Vilnius. Good design that does not follow trends and located near the center square. Also, it is the only place I found that you can chill out with a good cigar and fine spirit in a specified area.
Nice place, all in all, but the service is very slow, the food is OK. You need to pay for tap water and bring your own wet towels, since they can only give 3 per table. All is served very esthetically. Prices seems a bit high (12-17€ for main dish, that comes with no garments)
Great traditional Lithuanian food! Cozy atmosphere, but able to accommodate large groups.
Traditional wooden unremarkable house from outside. Spacious dining place inside. There is second floor. Cosy interior, nice beer. Meals tasty, but pricey. Friendly staff.
Very intersting beer they haveRaudonu Plytu or Red Brick
Worst service ever! Got totally wrong starter. Was first not going to change it.
Brought me then the main dish before I got the new starter. The main dish stayed at the table all time and got cold. Got the coffee before the dessert! No apologies.
I would have given no stars at all but this option was not available! Go somewhere else! I will!!

Very nice cosy atmosphere. Upstairs sofas. Service is very polite and fast.
Nice food, but the service was a bit tired
The Lithuanian beer tasting offer was really nice! (5 small beers at the price of one standard size)
Good place to eat and have some times with frieds. Love it!
Nice place. Very good food. Excellent vaitress.
Old but fancy
Food is good, environment cosy, service - slow
Food was alright. Ordered a burger and the meat was not the best.. but friendly stuff and good service
