the quality level does not correspond to high prices, the home wine appears diluted with water, the food is usual, the place does not add to the mood..
Once very popular place with high prices.. now became just usual. But still high prices

A nice place with decently priced kibinai. As I was growing up we always stopped here for some because they're great quality and always fresh. Definitely worth popping here when you're in Trakai!

Its definitly not the best restaurant. Have 'turist center' atmosphere, small pieces and staff could be better organised. Food is realy delicious so I give tree stars.

Tasty kibinai. I would say this is the best place to try them in all Lithuania. This is the oldest place that makes them. Try it and you will see.

Best Kibinai in Trakai! Always get some Kibinai take outs when passing by. Try the sweet ones with curd Prices are friendly too.

Came with a large group and they handled it well. The borscht was the best. Ceppelinai were better than some but rather bland.

I guess we visited during a busy time but the way everything was handled was awful.

We never got acknowledged by the waiters even though we were waiting by the entrance. Lots of people just lost the patience and left or just went inside to wait for some table to free up.

Finally, we got a table at 'the other' part of the place and we were ignored again. After 15min a waiter showed up and informed that we will need to wait for another hour to get any food.

On our way out, they had Kibinai( place's premier dish) at takeaway stand. I got 'em there in three minutes.

The taste was very average even when I was extremely hungry (I got one with pork and the other one with beef - neither left a good impression).

Can't really complain, prices are fair for it being in a central location but high if you think about how simple food you are having. Great for a light lunch, Pastries are mostly fresh, they don't lack the filling, great if you would like to experience the local cuisine. But nothing 'special'

The best place to try the traditional and famous Karaim dish "Kibinas" they offer as well a variety of Lithuanian dishes and drinks like Gira or Kisiel and local beer You will feel a real Lithuanian atmosphere.

Great place to try out all the traditional food of Trakai. Relatively inexpensive, the atmosphere was great as well as the prices. Would recommend.

Traditional place with amazing pastries, that were brought to this little town by karaims. The great Lithuanian Duke Mindaugas invited karaims to Lithuania in 14 century, and their pastries became a symbol of Trakai.

There is a huge terrace, which is opened during warm seasons. For winter I would recommend to go upstairs, as there is a beautiful panorama with a view to Trakai castle.

Food is cheap and the recipe haven't changed for decades. 1 kibinas is aroun 1.50EU. They do have vegetarian options as well, but if you eat meat - a must is Kibinas with pork. And don't forget to try Lithuanian beers - you will never find a better beer than a Lithuanian one!
