Owing to the Scandinavian ownership of Rimi, it is disappointing that they betray their very own corporate animal welfare values in Lithuania. Rimi equivalent shops in Sweden do not sell eggs laid by cage raised hen. Whereas here, in Lithuania, the management is reluctant to drop supporting this unethical practice despite blatant claims of supporting high animal welfare standards
