Great place for visiting with family. Have everything in mainor teritory: big park, alot diferemt mainor buildings to see from outside and visit inside, coffees, bar, room service and restaurant. Everything that you can need to spend good calm weekend ore a day with family.

It's a really nice place to visit. A neo classic manor with a huge park, stables, brewery and other buildings from 18th-19th sentuary. It is possible to get a guide and experience a life of the nobles of that time.

I'd like to share my experience after spending the whole weekend here with my wife, so it might be a bit longer read :)
I didn't read any reviews prior to coming here intentionally, I was just vaguely aware of what this place is due to visiting it ~4 years ago during summer. I must say it exceeded my expectations in almost every area possible. Here are the main positives:
- amazing quality of service, which started with the guy who checked us in and provided us with all the information over the next few days. Didn't catch his name, but any provider of similar services would be LUCKY to have such guy representing them.
- really well furnished and maintained hotel premises and room.
- great food in the local tavern, as we ate lunch and dinner there 3 times during our weekend stay. Nothing too fancy and selection is not crazy, but for what they make - it's really good. Prices are also quite reasonable.
- more than adequate breakfast in the aforementioned tavern. I do travel quite a lot and it definitely is comparable to many more expensive hotels.
- quite a unique experience of watching historical movie "Tadas Blinda" in the mill lit by candlelight. We were watching alone after 10 P.M. and managed to sit through the whole 2.5 hour long showing.
- amazing half-a-day spent due to well organized theatrical event of visiting the manor and premises. I must say you could get away with charging twice the current amount for the quality provided ;)
- very spacious area overall, which is great for long walks or runs if you prefer that. Even during the not-so-good weather.
I could go on with the positives, as well as nit-pick on some minor things. but I urge everyone to go there at least once, weather and season doesn't really matter. I know we will definitely come here again once the hotel in the main building opens up :)response / report this review -

Good place for having a walk on usual day. Sometimes they organize festivals, then the entrance is paid only. We even had our wedding photo shoot there.

Amazing live museum. Very authentic feeling that you get from this place. Great service, staff. They bring history using show and costumes. I am not even talking about the building and the manor that they recreated. Must visit!

You must visit this place with a guide, our group of 22 had a wonderful time! In 2 hours we saw the inside of the manor (which felt cozy, because touching the exhibits and sitting on the chairs was allowed), went to the torture museum in the basement, rode some horses, admired the sheep, goats and chickens which roamed free, and had a nice stroll in the park. I would come again if I was in Pakruojis.

A really nice and extraordinary place. You can feel the vibe of Lithuaniness in here and it feels overall like a mansion of a duke, but it doesn't't feel 100% authentic. Still, one of the greatest experiences in Lithuania.
