Its a bit out of the way but well worth the trip! Spent the day touring the Monastery & Museum, followed by a small hike through the surrounding woods. Highly recommended!
Very tasty food. Amazing ambiance. Perfect service.
Picturesque surroundings! Magnificent monastery! Do recommend to visit!
Absolutely fantastic. The church is magnificent and its the best one I've seen in Lithuania. Well worth the visit.
Amazingly beautiful monastery where you're relatively free to walk around and explore by yourself. December is obviously not great for the weather but I was pretty much alone there. Exposition is very detailed and full of history. Very helpful staff.
A guide is a must (reservations are taken a week before, no less). Spectacular visit.
Wonderful place. Its perfectly suits for your special day.
Wonderful monastery with exceptional architecture. The park around is worth to walk in, you can admire trees aged of hundred years and the amazing shores of Kauno Marios Regional Park.
As an architectural monument, Pažaislis is worth a visit. The reality of the place is less than you expect from the hype, since it is in need of restoration and repair. But, if you're in the area, it's worth a visit. The ensemble hosts a popular music festival in the summer months and the whole area is a very popular location for wedding photos.
Awesome place. After the visit to monastery, you can drive further up the road to find the yaht club and a restaurant with kids playground. Not sure about weekend, but on Thursday it was a quiet place to have a dinner with friends. There are some yahts for rent too.
Love it
A very beautiful view walking up to the area. After the entrance, there is a restaurant that is open to the public. My local friends and I were simply looking around. Beyond the entrance, is the actual church/monastery. It looked inaccessible at the time we were present because of the hour. Yet earlier times, it appears people may visit up close.
An old monastery worth seeing. A small fee for entrance onto the grounds is required, a guide is available
Very nice nun explained us the monastery
