Great place. There is a restaurant and the pub at the same building. The breakfast was not perfect.

In Anykščiai, a small and "green" city in the eastern part of Lithuania, there are not many options for choosing the hotel but, anyway, the structure is not bad.
In front of the entrance there is a big parking and the front desk staff is friendly (if you can, better communicate in Russian than in English); the restaurant is very cozy and offers tasty dishes, even though its prices are slightly above the Lithuanian average (I strongly recommend the fruity wines). Good choices for the salty part of the breakfast, much less options for the sweet one.
The rooms have all the essential facilities, although they would need to be modernized.
We stayed there in mid-September, so the forest around (well visible from the rooms) was completely green and snowless: only populated by a large number of mosquitoes!response / report this review -

The rooms are simple, pleasant. The staff is very friendly. Ample parking. The restaurant is surprisingly good. Breakfast is overcrowded and slow to be restocked, but good when it's there. Biggest complaint - the marketing staff have apparently decided to pretend there's a functional pool. There isn't. One isn't allowed to use the unheated, mostly decorative pool during restaurant hours, thus if one wanted to use it, it would be possible only from 22:00. Why raise expectations when the place is a deal even without a pool?

Potato pancakes are deep fried potatoes mixed with some flour, which was very unpleasant, unexpected and disappointing Restaurant service was good, room was very old-school in a bad way.

Caramelized lobster was way too sweet. Burger bun was over cooked and crunchy. The prices are low though.

Very poor service. Hotel's rules are above customer satisfaction. Sweeping the floor is more important than the clients for restaurant staff. We visited during winter time and pathways around the hotel were slipery and our kid fell. Disapointed
