  Mindaugas, 13 a. suvienijęs Lietuvos žemes ir siekęs atverti kelius į Europą, priemė krikštą ir buvo karūnuotas Lietuvos karaliumi. Pusketvirto metro skulptūros postamentą juosia kalendorius.
