  a long time considered the highest hill in Lithuania. The views do not take your breath away, it is not worth choosing..
  It can be just a point on the route of a cycling tour or just a short stop of a ride.. a quiet place, the commercial here has not yet arrived.

  Juozapinė Hill is a hill located near Vilnius, formerly regarded as the highest point in Lithuania. Its elevation is 292.7metres. You can park your car pretty near it and go on foot. Some beautiful panorama view appears but nothing special. There arent any stairs or paved pathways, so wear comfortable shoes. Don't forget to visit Medininku castle or medininku massacre memorial. Both are pretty close.

  Ilgą laiką Juozapinės kalnas buvo laikytas aukščiausia Lietuvos vieta virš jūros lygio. 2005 m. aukščiausios vietos titulas atiteko visai netoli esančiam Aukštojui. Nors turi garbingą titulą, vieta kraštovaizdyje neišsiskiria ir nėra labai įspūdinga. Atrodo kaip paprasta kalva. Teritorija aptvarkyta. Verta aplankyti tik dėl pliusiuko, jog buvai ant 2-o pagal aukštį Lietuvos taško viršūnės.
