Unique place to visit. We spent about 20 minutes to walk through the crosses. If you are in the area definitely something to see.

Impressive place. Never seen something like this.
The place is far away from Vilnius and Kaunas, and the tours to here are ridiculously priced. Found it more cheap and convenient to rent a car to go here.
Even though you probably won’t spend more than 30-60 minutes here it is still worth the trip to here.

Very peaceful place. With interesting historic background. Don't buy the tourist souvenirs, its overpriced junk you can get for half price in most local supermarkets/shops.

This is one of those spot in middle of nowhere which will very surprise you. I can very recommend it. Scary but interesting. You can buy here your own cross( many types in offer) and you can leave it in this hill of crosses. Land around reminds me Montana in USA. Kind of farms land…

This place is bizarre, the title is broadly accurate there are lots of crosses but it may have been more accurate to describe it as a mound. It breaks up the drive from Riga to Klaipeda and is largely pleasant and instagramable. The awkwardness is the tension between tourists and those with a genuine catholic devotion.

Interesting place. There is 1000 plus crosses for sure. You will find all sorts of them. Different sizes, materials, cross on a top of a cross, in the tree. It's very strange and interesting at the same time. Some of them are commemorating, some just wishes, some are symbol of rebellion. It is free of charge. There is a car park next to it which is paid and a second one next to monastery which is free. Infocenter for tourist has toilets and sells jewelry and wooden crosses for people to put out. You don't have to be religious to appreciate what people have done here

This was one of the more unique experiences of our trip to the Baltics. This hill is literally covered with crosses from around the world. There are steps up the hill and little side paths that allow you to walk around in the area. It's quite unique, and a worthwhile experience to visit. It's also quite camera friendly, as there are lots of cool crosses, so of which have aged better than others. I recommend going, even if you're not religious.

My wife and I visited in April. Quite early in the spring so there were not many people. It was an interesting place to visit. I'm not particularly religious and was not raised Catholic but it was still moving. It was explained to us that some placed crosses for spiritual reasons but others did it as an act of protest against an oppressive regime. We bought a small cross for a couple dollars and added it out of respect for all those who had stood up for what they believed. One of the few attractions I've visited that I would call wheel chair friendly.

The photos do this place no justice. The history of this place is deep. Overwhelmed with crosses this place is so historic. Spent over an hour here and still didn’t see it all. The store up front has crosses for sale or you can bring your own. They also have an amazing store that sells amber jewelry. This place is a must see.

Pilgrimage spot in Lithuania. It is basically a hill full of crosses from people who go there and just stick them. Usually crowded so choose wisely when you want to go.

Very cool place. I forget if it was more than 200,000 crosses they say are there, but man there are ALLOT of crosses.

It is worth to know the history of the Hill before visiting it, otherwise it seems just a hill full of crosses. During the last 13 years the area where the crosses are placed has become much larger and the surrounding area is more tourist-oriented now. You will find enough sellers there who will offer you a wide range of wooden crosses. There is a parking lot for cars and buses for a small fee during day and free of charge in the late evening (if I remember correctly, after 6 p.m.) and at night. People really still leave their crosses there, just place them on some older ones or find the last free area on the ground.

Very unique place to visit. Quick cisit as we were driving through, glad we did as we have never seen anything like it. Visit anytime and parking is easy and there's a gift shop.
