Very interesting guided tour. Starts surprisingly with old tools and patterns from the first civilizations in Lithuania, but guide weaves it all very nicely together as you ascend the stairs and continue on through time. Highly recommended, worth also to plan in advance to see nearby observatory.

Very nice place with small exhibition and breathtaking views. Tours every hour, but everything is in Lithuanian. The park is lovely. Well worth the price of 4 Euros per person.

This is a Lithuanian sky observatory and ethnocosmology museum. Though I expected to observe the sky myself- I didn't have the chance. Daily four sessions of trips inside- 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm. A guide talks you through the history of cosmology- dated back from 1000BC till date. You will see an alien inside, too :P

The host inside explained everything in Lithuanian, wasn't helpful ot me, but my wife translated for me. At the end there was a video clip, downloaded from YouTube showing the universe.

The interesting part was the top view- around 197 steps high- we had a very nice view. We could see up to 20 KM- as they hose said. They have a garden with colourful flowers and a lake. Also some Stonehenge sort of monuments representing the solar system.

Great new museum with interesting exposition and artifacts. And what makes it really special is the fact that it is the first museum of such kind in the world. Surrounding area is stunningly beautiful too! Worth a visit without a doubt.

Very cool places if you like science. Though, your experience will highly depend on the guide. Also, if you are going during the colder season, make sure you have warm clothes.
