Otherwise good but there was this odd rule that only bill per table (never countered that before). The bill can't be split amongst the persons in table.

По какой-то причине этот ресторан недооценивают. Для входа в него нужно спуститься прямо с оживленной туристической улицы Пилиес по ступенькам вниз в полуподвал, но пусть вас это не смущает - внутри шикарный ресторан, холеные официанты и замечательная кухня и вино. Мы были тут с друзьями - я нашел для себя вегетарианские блюда, друзья были в восторге от стейков. А великолепное Пино Нуар только усилило вкус и радость от песещения этого ресторана.

We tried this restaurent as Dvaras which is very popular was busy. The house red was good at 4 Euro a glass. The food is pricy and some dishes on the menu were 55 Euro. Have the steaks been dipped in gold. We opted for the salmon at 20 Euro a pop wjich is well over priced. About £12 in London. Gina's at Kings Cross. Anyway my salmon was undercooked and almost raw in the middle. I checked immeadiatly as this had happened in Paris just a few weeks before. In Paris the salmon was covered in a cheese source so it was not so easy to see how undercooked it was. This time as well as in Paris I had the food further cooked. My companion did not in Paris and she paid the price all night. The food arrived cooked and the long grain white rise with wild rise was still hot. It also came with a Salad of bits of sweet pepper, gorgette and tomatoes and a source. The plate looked rather deserted and the meal was not very substainial compared to the Pris version or indeed my own. My home cooked salmon (twice the size) with green beans and tomates cost under 3 Euros. I will post pictues of mine and theirs if possible. Tip to chef. When pan frying meat or fish use a pan lid and the food cooks much more evenly. It will use lower heat, save money and avoid over cooked exsteriors and under cooked interiors. Would I return here - No.
They need to improve the cooking, dishes and lower prices. It does explain why it was not very busy although we were there around 2 pm and it may be more of an evening venue. The waiting staff was attentive.response / report this review -
