Welcoming and friendly staff. We came at the time kitchen was about to close, but staff have said they will accommodate us and treated us well. Great presentation of food and it tasted delicious! Clean place. This restaurant is famous for its traditional dishes. We have this restaurant in London, but food is not the same. Staff dresses in traditional Lithuanian clothing. Even their plates, cups and bowls are their own brand! My Family used to come here, to this very restaurant to celebrate Birthdays and 'Name Days' years ago. Also my Mom used to bring me here when I was small girl, on Sundays, to enjoy lunches/ dinners. Quality of food and service have not changed throughout the years! WOULD RECOMMEND! Such a lovely place!

If you are searching for some Lithuanian restaurant which serve fresh food this place is not what you want. The restaurant offers almost 50 types of food so it's not surprising that the food taste of old. Especially I could taste how many days the potato dumpling were kept in freezer before being warmed up!

Great Lithuanian food and not pricey at all. Nice dinner with a pint of beer ~8-10€. My recommendations!

Used to be a #1 place for traditional national cuisine, but it's now a bit of a shadow of its former self. The restaurant interior is quite authentic for a tavern, but sometimes the staff likes to turn up some weird music for a place like this. The food quality tends to vary a lot, sometimes it tastes great, other times not so sure if it's freshly made. It's also one of the few places that serves lithuanian mead. Prices are also a bit higher given the food quality and quantity, altough tourists from Western Europe will find prices still quite cheap.

Food was pretty great for the price! Tried the potato dumplings (stuffed with duck) with mushroom sauce - quite tasty pairing but enjoyed. Also tried the beetroot soup which was delicious and recommended!
My dinner companion had the sausages with mashed potatoes and horseradish + side of vegetables - all was delicious and I would love to return and try some more traditional Lithuanian foods.
We arrived in the midst of the lunch rush but were fortunate to secure the last table. Saw plenty of folks arrive and walk out, disappointed that there were no tables available.
Personally, I wasn't impressed with the service. Not sure if it's a cultural thing or the individual but felt the waitress was rather dismissive and curt. We were pleasant and quite polite but weren't successful with winning her over during our visit.
Regardless, it was a good experience and I'm glad for the opportunity to dine here today. Would recommend to anyone seeking reasonably cheap prices for authentic foods.response / report this review -

Cannot recommend highly enough. I had the rabbit stew, and it was amazingly good, and was super inexpensive considering the quality. The interior is beautiful, and the service is good.

The variety of food here is really mouth-watering, and the traditional plate of potatoes and meat that I got was very tasty. The bacon was one of the best I tried. Very good prices, excellent value.for money.

Me and two friends went to eat lunch in this place.
When we arrived the waitress welcomed us in a nice way then we decided to go to seat upstairs.
When we went upstairs there was 2 waiters seated down, we were about to seat when one of the waiter informed us that the part of the room where we wanted to seat was already booked so he indicated us where we could seat.
At the moment we arrived the place was not busy at all but after we took our seat the waiters disappeared so no menu, no drink no service, after few minutes we decided to go down stairs where the waitress was very attentive.
I had just a main course which was a duck leg confit, it was nice but nothing exceptional.response / report this review -

Ordered fish with potaoes and the potatoes where cold. The fish was good. We ordered sparkling wine and it wasn't cooled and we didn't get an ice bucket - We have to ask for it. At least we get som ice to cool the wine with

It was my first Lithuanian restaurant experience and I really enjoyed it. Very typical decoration, the staff is wearing traditional Lithuanian dresses. The price was also good. Try one of the Lithuanian soups, they are really good!

The old times style interior comes in harmony with local music.

Really cheap and nice restaurant. Ordered the hunter's menu which turned out to be enormous! (for 3-4 people) I understood the shocked face of the waiter when I ordered it, considering that I was alone Soup served in a large emptied bread. All was delicious

Typical Lithuanian cuisine. You can taste here famous "pink soup", cepelinai, kugelis and much more.

Delicious food, not cheap, not expensive (4-14 eur for a dish). I have eaten all traditonal dishes I have wanted to try. Highly recommended for someone who feels like traditonal food.
