Cancer, unlike many other diseases, invokes up deep fear and anxiety in affected individuals and many people are unaware how much can be done to prevent, cure and care for those with cancer. There is enough knowledge to prevent at least one-third of cancers by primary prevention with another third prevented where resources are available by early detection and effective treatment.
