What a beautiful place! We decided to stay here for two nights, but could have stayed even longer. Everything was very clean and things mostly well maintained. The employees was great, especially "Mkay" that spoke perfect english and helped us informing about Lesotho, what to see and do. We stayed at their "River Lodges" - Really wonderful. Breakfast and their food in general was also great.

I recommend everyone to book directly and not through for example booking com - The money will go directly to the hotel that needs if for all the maintenance they are doing and all the staff they employ.

Just one tip to the property: The branches/trees between the river lodges and the river should be cut down a bit, so that your guests actually can see the river. And the trails need to be maintained better, the whole way (we did the circular route and it was not maintained from the 3 waterfalls).

Again, thank you all and we hope to be back again soon!

Wonderful place, as peaceful as you will ever find. Situated in the heart of the Maluti mountains, you are surrounded by the sound of waterfalls, bird life and tranquility. The lodge itself is rated 5 star, Lesotho grading council though. There is a bar and restaurant, so the public is welcome. There are luxury river lodges, sleeping up to 8 people. There are also basic lodges (menial facilities but good for overnight hikers/campers)

My face place in Lesotho..the views are awesome no matter what time of year. The last 500m of road is quite hectic.we were on Harleys!! But we made it. The accommodation in the chalets near the river could be updated. Food mostly 4 star.

Best place in the world. Amazing place. Amazing views. Spectacular. Tasty food at the restaurant. Snow capped. Mountains at your door step. The drive is worth it. A 4x4 isn't needed, even for the last 3kms of gravel Road. We saw an eland on our way back to our room at night. They accept rands and cards. Horse trails and hiking trails. The rooms are really designed well. Some minor improvements like a porter service would be nice.

This was the 2nd destination on our honeymoon and according to many sources the best place to stay in Lesotho. We cannot agree more! We booked on the mid-week special (included breakfast and dinner) and only stayed 2 nights.

It was a world-class experience as the staff were very professional and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Every time we came back from breakfast or dinner the room was well cleaned with artistic touches to the towels. We also had full privacy as we never even noticed when they were there. As it was our honeymoon, they served our one dinner inside our chalet. The entire place was lit with candles and a bath was run and decorated with rose petals.

We went for the "loop" hike which was absolutely spectacular even though it was the driest month of the year. If you go on this hike don't make the same mistake we did and make sure you pack at least 2L of water.

The views from chalet 6 are definitely the best. The only slight nuisance was the chain saw as they were busy building two new units in front of ours. Fortunately this only went on for a maximum of 2 hours.

Overall it was an amazing experience and we hope to go back soon, hopefully during the rainy season.

After very stressful wedding planning and all the running we had to do, us as newlyweds decided to to getaway to Lesotho Maliba Mountain Lodge. They had honeymoon package going which we had chosen and I can’t tsll you it’s the best decision I have made. Everything was perfect! All the staff was friendly, helpful and there at your beck and call. Our honeymoon room actually was more like a chalet was absolutely breathtaking, we had a beautiful view of of the mountains right from
our bed with a huge deck which your could walk on to and it felt as if you amongst the mountains. The bathroom floor and towel rack was heated which is great plus in winter. We had lovely fire place which was lit every evening on request. We had a good breakfast every morning, lunch and a 3 course dinner every night. The food was amazing the service was definitely 5 star! Our package included all this plus horse ride through the mountains what adventurous experience, a full body massage so relaxing and the room was kept super warm so when you remove your clothes you are not freezing to death. The cherry on top of the whole stay was the private dinner that was set up for my husband and I. Candle lit throughout our entire room, table set up neat the fire, bubble bath run for us with candles lit in the bathroom. I could have not imagined a better honeymoon, it was peaceful and serene. It was great choice to get away from it all and focus you and your partner. I highly recommend Maliba Mountain Lodge to everyone, if you are looking for a place to relax and just take in good views and vibes this is the place. I am truly greatly for this experience.

Take a hike to the three cascades to enjoy most(10km walk). No regrets at all.

Magnificent views. Amazingly friendly staff will go out of their way to help and accommodate you. Food was extremely good at bistro and restaurant. Horse riding was great. Only recommend that they trim the bushes infront of river lodge number two and consider building indoor or roofed braai areas for each river lodge unit. Otherwise amazing stay!

Gorgeous views from the mountain lodge balconies. Clean and well equipped River lodge chalets. The river is exquisitely clean and perfect for a dip if weather is warm. Some nice hikes offered from the hotel. Other activities offered at the hotel will probably appeal more to international tourists. Perfect for a 2-3 night stop over.

The Lodge is beautiful. Breakfast was nice but with no prices attached to the menu we thought breakfast was included with the price of lodging. Surprise! Here's your bill.

A wonderful get away with family and friends. Maliba Lodge is quite great, quiet and relaxing. The activities in this resort are the best -Given that Lesotho sky clear and the air is clean and fresh, anyone will love navigating the mountains on horseback or by tracking. I do recommend it to anyone who is looking forward to a tranquil outing
