These falls are not as majestic as, say, the Victoria Falls but the trail there is worth it. And it’s not crowded so you can sit, relax, take in the calmness of the Lesotho highlands.
The hike to the falls is also really pleasant. You are steeped into the culture of the Basotho people and their daily lives. No motorized vehicles wander here so all you’ll see the young boys on their donkeys, the older men on their horses, the cows grazing, sheep shearers and open fields.
The highest single drop waterfall in Africa. Maletsunyane Falls is a must see if you ever plan to visit Lesotho. The best time to visit is between November and May when the is a lot of water and green grass. The road to the fall is not paved from the main road and you might have to be careful when it has rained

Amazing view
3-4 hr hike to the bottom and back. Be well prepared with light food and water..
One of my favourite spots in the world!
Nice waterfall. You can see it only from far, but it is beautiful. The road to the waterfall is really amazing
