This is a annual yearly trip for us. Love seeing real snow and being able to play in it like a kid. There is activities for the entire family. If you dont know how to ski their instructors are very knowledgeable and helpfull to teach you. They are committed to having you ski on your own in no time. They have the world's patients. The accommodation is clean and warm and cosy. Always a sociable group around that makes things fun.

The Skiing is great and awesome instructors, but the food and drink prices there are daylight robbery. At night they only have one restaurant open with R120 for a chicken burger. Even at the so called "cheaper" restaurant that is only open 9-4pm food prices are ridiculous. They do this because you are trapped and there is no where else to buy food. I suggest people take a whole suitcase full of food when you go there.

Really cool spot. Loads to do. Ski Resort in Winter. In summer we used fat bikes and hiked.
    Definitely recommended.

Terrible experience. Arrived to a closed restaurant with nowhere to get even a drink let alone food after 12 hours of driving. Was about 5 degrees C and no hot water, no heating, no gas for the fire and the shower plug blocked so flooded all over the floor. Nobody at reception to help us, just a number to call but no service as was up a mountain. WiFi is apparently available but impossible to connect too so don't even bother trying. Left first thing in the morning. Wouldnt recommended or go back

Wil come back in the winter for some African skiing. Lesotho is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. (The accommodation is very basic but the food is good)

Loved my time at Afriski as I was a novice and had never been to ski before it was simply magical. We were lucky enough to be graced with freash snow which made everything all the more exciting. That being said I feel if one had much experience at skiing it may get a bit boring as there isn't much variety in the slopes and they are basic. A really perfect place to train however if you don't want to go overseas with no experience. Overall I loved it and have booked to go again.

I had the pleasure of spending my birthday at the resort last year. The team there managed to meet my expectations and exceed them. They were so friendly and the warmth they gave me and my family made us forget about the biting cold. You can ski at night, have a lovely dinner during the evening and party in the night time at the Gondola. I cannot begin to express how amazing my time there was.

Wonderful experience. The tranquility is unbelievable. There is room for some improvement though e.g. construct all weather paths between chalets and the receptlon and install intercom in chalets

Best holiday destination in Lesotho. Very cool in Summer and extremely cold in Winter. The resort has outdoor activities for both summer and winter. You can bring your kids, friends and family. You don't need to buy skiing gear as they rent it out to the public

Great location, staff friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty.
Rooms poor, electric plugs not working, back up generator not working door handles falling off, no hot water for 2 of 8 nights. Maintenance needs a lot of work to give Afriski
    my nod of approval.

The adventure resort is in the middle of the mountains. Fantastic drive to get there, staff well trained, food good. Be care-full picking your accommodation. We prefer the chalets.

I am in awe of the magnificent Maluti Mountains, what a beautiful place Lesotho is. The drive & view to the resort was spectacular but it is not a child's play.
Our instructor for beginners was very patient and fantastic!!

A resort just an inch below heaven, fresh breadth & peace of mind, I love this place & every morning waking up to the calls of Drakensberg Rockjumpers & Prinias.

Main slope quite challenging, but intermediate and beginners great to learn on. Much cheaper than Europe or USA

Experience snow in Africa. Driving up the mountain to Afriski is no joke. Careful driving up the hill. Snow is best on colder winter days but artificial snow is added on warmer days. Fun place to hang out with friends and family

Lovely little slope to take the kids out for a ski and snowboard adventure!

Great during the summer too if you enjoy mountain biking!

The place is not very big. It is not anything like what the website makes it out to be, it did say that ski season had begun in may, however when we went in June there was no snow and we were disappointed, so be sure to check the weather reports. The prices are high and the beginners ski area is quite small.

Absolutely amazing!! We had fun the sky! Suitable for families, and adventure lovers. Take a hike in Summer to enjoy the majestic views of the Maluti moutains or go up a ski lift to try out the enduro tracks. For dinner try their ribs..these are too delicious. Chill outside in the evening for a view of the stars. P.S get an experienced driver that will excercise patience and caution as the mountain passes are dicey. Oh and pack something warm..you'll have a ball.

Nice place, the restaurant was my favorite place with warm waiters and bar attenders. Although I visited this place in summer it was still pretty chilly so you definitely have to dress warm. The chalets were awesome with a lot of space and also very warm.
