I loved it here! The staff is amazing! Customer service is superb. There are a variety of restaurants here with quality food. I stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed each day here!

Awesome hotel with friendly staff and service. Rooms are neat and well equipped. Casino downstairs is small but welcoming. Great views of the Lesotho mountain range from the West facing rooms

For the most part of it, Lesotho Sun, now called Avani Lesotho, is the best Hotel for you stay in Maseru. It has been stripped off its old paralyzing and slow thinking and put in par with modern, luxurious hotels around the world. It's location is very exclusive - on top of a hill that overlooks the city of Maseru, so that should be a pretty good view at night if you want to have a good, classy night out. I mean, the Management don't even have to tell you to wear anything from Smart Casual to Formal because the environment of the place does the most talking. They have the best Chinese Restaurant in there called Ying Tao Grill/Restaurant. You would never go wrong to go there with your partner or your family. I've been there for over 7 times now and I'm still a fan. The food is fresh, hot from the stove. You can even get Personal Chef with your table surrounding his stove and watch him do his tricks and serve you the food extremely hot/warm delish.

Avani Lesotho is extremely neat and the service is top-class. A few shortfalls here and there but they're seriously not deal breakers. However, be sure to be warned that the Hotel has been bought by Sun International so you know it comes with a price tag depending on the room you want to stay in, how long you want to stay and the things you want to do while you're there.

Maseru has 2 Avani hotels. Make sure you confirm it's the one " on top of the hill". This hotel has been there for a long time but still a stylish hotel, rooms are small and sparse on amenities. Insist on getting a room with a view, it makes all the difference at this hotel. Large, well equipped gym for the mornings and a fun Casino for the evenings.

A super friendly staff that did everything to accommodate our every need and a big pool, but definitely overpriced for the hotel quality. The casino made it kind of a fun environment but they allow smoking and the smell permeates through the entire hotel. Beautiful sunset views of Lesotho were a major highlight.

The best hotel in Lesotho. Offers great accommodations and restaurants. There is a casino inside, a bar, fitness centre, and a swimming pool. Professional and friendly and stuff. Airport transfer services available

THE WORST RESORT EVER I STAY IN MY LIFE!! Let me start from beginning when i enter i have to park car a little far from resort even there is parking just near they told me park another far parking because that parking only for casino card holder i said okay then get my room they charge me amost 7000 for 3 nights after that when i enter in room its sucks its small then there is tv but not dstv so you can see just 15 channels and all those channel sucks no one is important then the WI-FI they charge me 7000 still they give just 250 MB per day free if you want to use more you have to buy and there is low network in wifi its hardly come 1 point then another day we go for breakfast and its closed everyday 11 i reached there 10:55 still 5 minuts left I thought i get breakfast but they said its finished like seriously i said still 5 minuts left they say sorry sir we clean our tables now you can't get then same night i go to the restaurant around 10 and they closed at 10 and that lady is still there i just need one cake they say we are closed they still there system also open but she didn't give me even one cake lol i said fine so I think this is worst resort i every stay and i never ever come again here not even its free lol so I suggest everyone please choose lodge rather than this resort because believe me its sucks

Comfortable rooms, with good views over the city. Buffet meal quality is variable- some great items, some less good. The best views of the city, including sunrise and sunset, are from the gardens on the hilltop past the hotel.
