Great place for a day trip from Monrovia. We were stopped by someone calling themselves a local official. Apparently you are supposed to get permission or Pay to visit. Be ready for that.. (I have been warned that there have been cases of armed robbery at the Blue Lake, be sure to go with a group and stay alert)
