Place is great. Ocean view. Cozy. Service is extremely slow, even compared to others on the beach. Zephyr burger looked delicious but it’s patty didn’t taste beef at all, maybe tuna meat? You may wanna order something else. The burger doesn’t worth the price.

The food here was good. Service was fine. We were there on a holiday, and the vibe was a little weird. Not bad, just like people wanted to not be working, which is understandable.

Great view. Good food! Great starters and mains. For some reason though they do not serve any kind of alcohol. Service is rather slow ;)

We wanted to eat there, when the restaurant was not that busy. Many tables on the beach were empty, but apparently reserved as we were directed towards the balcony area with high chairs, offering a view to the beach.
Before we got to sit down, we were told that we had to leave. The staff told us that their kitchen would be too busy tonight to serve us as they were expecting a big group.
Okay, if this place really was fully booked and they don't accept walk-ins, why not put a sign up or be clear about it from the beginning? Clearly they don't need anymore good publicity if they can handpick their guests.

Coolest place on Mirissa Beach. They play very good music and the environment is cool and very “tropical-surfing style”.
Food is also nice here. Had a curry and my GF ate a pesto-pasta.. they were both delicious.. it’s very popular during the night so around 6-8 can be quite difficult to get a table on the sand or up in the restaurant with ocean view.
Cocktails are also nice here.. reasonable prices and good service.

This place has some delicious food. Pretty packed always. Service is a bit slow - but the food is amazing. Try the local curry dishes, they're mind blowing!

Giving them 3* even though the food is delicious, the vibe is great and the location is amazing.

The service is sometimes a bit slow but that's common for Sri Lanka. I've been here 3 times and was about to make a reservation for another night when I came across a series of 1* reviews from locals. Apparently, they are not welcome here and are treated as a second class guests. The management didn't bother to reply to any of those reviews which made me seriously concerned. I couldn't make myself come back to Zephyr and I strongly believe this attitude should not be encouraged.

Went for lunch and then dinner the next day. Great vibe, great food and great staff. They have seating right on the beach and seats inside that looks onto the beach. I wanted a break from curry so I got the Zephyr burger and the fried fish wrap both great choices. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome place to watch the scenery of the ocean. The stuff tries to suit your needs - if you just want sit and watch ocean form this place they will not bother you, if you are interested in meal they give you attention in regular intervals. Bit higher prices than the places around but hight quality and well prepared food served for the higher price. Definitely great place to go for romantic dinner or date. The menu is partially suited to the demands of tourists but you will find both, Sri Lanka cuisine same like European/States cuisine there.

Great view, right in front of the ocean and the right lighting that let's you see the shore even at night. And there is no sand, Delicious sea food and nice cocktails. Unobtrusive service. Actually everything you want from a restaurant. No doubt #1 in Mirissa

Excellent food!
We had some starters delicious (prawns and tuna) and for main two big fishes.
Price ok for the high quality, fish of the day. You can even ask to see the fish before.

Definitely the best food we had in Mirissa, staff are very nice and food was incredible. We came back each day for lunch and prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend the chicken wrap with corriander mayo!

The food and ambience is okay. But beware if you are going for drinks they try to raise prices of what you ordered. Our last visit was overcharged when we repeated several times that the bill wasn't correct that was ignored intentionally by the manager and aslo the staff. There's better options like that the hangover to try dinner at or places like kama for alcohol. Don't get cheated over their friendly welcome.

Service isn't amazing but good is really great food, service is better than most areas in Sri Lanka. I had the penne with creamy mushroom and loved it. Vegetable ah gratin is a lot of veg but nice dish. The fish cakes are YUM! Get them! Seating is cool and high up off the beach level which is great in off season.
All round 5 star place!

The food was lovely even though some of the serving sizes were quite sparse. If will definitely be quite crowded during the evening, though.
During our dinner up to give pairs of groups were waiting for a table by the bar.
Several of the foremost tables on the beach were marked as reserved, so reserving ahead might be worth trying.

Place looks nicegood location. Well selected menu compared to competitors around..
BUT:
- pretending front seats towards ocean are reserved while they never are, giving these away for tips or beach bunnies
- cheating on customers: we got the wrong bill (2500rupees higher than it was). Asked for the correct one. Got another one. Too high again. Stayed friendly, not even heart a sorry.
Waited 15min. Decided to go to the bar for correct bill. Got correct bill. Had to pay 1.400rupees, payed with a bill of 5000. Waited for 5min. Got 2.600 back, though even the bill said 3.600 return. Asked for 1000 more. Got these - and not even a sorry.

Otherd got similar experiences. If you read this - stay away from this place. They will remain in business due to their location anyway

Place has a nice atmosphere, the waiters of friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Really enjoyed the passion fruit shake and vegetable tempura but the pasta dish was pretty average. Have not tried other dishes, but from what I saw other get they looked decent.

Didn't have the beers listed on the menu which was a bad start. Took 30 minutes for a drink order to arrive, repeated twice throughout the evening. On the other hand beautiful location and goodish food. All in all bad Service, okay experience.

Amazing live music! I went with friends and we had the best time ever. The service was ok although the place was crowded. The live music was amazing and DJ played great new songs. Definitely recommend!
