It's a pretty decent place and the rates are very affordable. The biggest downside I would say is the unavailability of wifi.

Pros:
Good place.
Decent enough spacious rooms.
Good bathroom facilities.
Near the Kataragama Kovil.
Parking available.

Cons:
Poor maintenance.

They have created this new building with amazing features. Great at this point as cost and location both is very competitive. However it seems there can be maintenance lapses as the crew does not have experience in managing this level of features. If they are to succeed long term need to invest in experience crew for this building

Very poor place. Good for Low budget. Room maintenance is very poor. No plug points and Poor lighting arrangements inside the rooms. Fans are not properly working and room s are very hot at night.

Pros: very nice place. Situated in a strategically important place, walking distance from the main Murugan Temple. A small Perera and Sons is situated in the premises. The staff are nice and helpful. The have a large parking lot. The prices are nominal

Extremely good place to stay overnight if you are visiting Katharagama.There is Perera and Sons in the same building.It's good opportunity to get foods. Good customer service, friendly staff and a nice place to rest after a day of travelling.

Opted for non A/C old rooms and they were not comfortable and clean enough. I'd recommend the new ones from the look of it. It's situated right in the town.

A good budget place to stay. Rooms are very clean. I don't think we had hot water but the weather was warm enough. The staff is friendly. If you want food the perera and sons outlet is right next door. Parking space is big enough. A room per night stay is about 5000 with ac. I wouldn't drink tap water though. The non ac rooms didn't look good enough.

YMBA newly built wing is great. Ample parking. ( PnS is there but a veg lunch will cost you Rs. 240. Curries included Dhal, Beans, Pumpkin, Fried Chillies, Papadam and Greens. For me, they could have offered a better price. ) Staff was ok. According to them they are working on having a online reservation. A good place for pilgrims. Walking distance to Katharagama Devalaya.

This Place is very close to Kataragama Dewalaya and Kataragama Bus Stand. Rooms are clean and neatly organized. Reasonable room chargers.

YMBA we think stands for Young Mens Buddhist Association? If so it's a name play. Maybe with YMCA?
However it seems to be a very basic place open to all. Incl. Ladies and other believers.
