The place is not worthy to visit. There is no apparently an waterfall. Just a flow of water like a river. And you can't even think of bathing here. Because the water flow increases suddenly and upto 22 casualties are reported up to now.
But the hike to Manigala starts from here. Therefore you can watch the waterfall on the way to the hide of Manigala.

A nice place with easy access to road. But a very dangerous places to bath when raining. There were many recent deaths due to ignorance of people. You will be safe unless you take unnecessary risks. Be careful when stepping to water because there can be broken glass parts.

A great place to have fun with friends and families. Visitors advised as a dangerous place. The place is not hard to find. The palce situated about 5km away from Pathana Riverston. Nice environment and clean water. This is also a part of Thelgamu Oya.

Wedda peni ella is a small waterfall fed by the Thelgamu oya near Athnawala in Riverstone area. According to the folklore a wedda (a member of a minority indigenous group of people in Sri Lanka) chieftain once fell in to the water fall and died while trying to cross it. Hence the name "Wedda peni ella“. The road going through the village crosses the stream just before the water fall but it doesn't offer a good view of it. It's little difficult to reach the actual water fall because the is no official path to it.

The top part of water fall where the stream flows in a flat plain is a very popular spot for bathing. It has a very nice view offers a large area for bathing. The stream is very safe but need to stay alert for flash floods during the rainy season.

Nice place to enjoy the nature. The roads leading to this place are pretty good except in certain places. The water isn't polluted fresh. Serene environment. The water current can be pretty strong on the rainy days which can be quite risky. But overall nice place.
