Very nice place. This mountain normally walk around 3hrs. By vehicle 15min.personal vehicle not allowed. They maintain very clean

Recommended and not common place located in Kataragama area. Not recommended to visit this place from personal low-floor cars or vehicles with low engine capacity. You can easily rent a truck from the entrance, or simple you can take a walk, but you have to walk 3-4 kilometers.

Wadasiti kanda is a aceint located in the peak of the rock
Its very beutiful in the peak of the rock
We have to climbed the mountain thiugh the jungle nearly 4kilimetrs
Or we can take a cab service provided by the temple it cost 350 per person
Its very easy but very cosly
But you are in ages plese use the cab service its very very easy
Rather than climing the mountan

Nice exercise, 1.5km on stairs on the top of the hill is a Buddhist temple and beautiful panorama. Worths to visit if you are looking for an active excursion. Takes 40-90 minutes depending on purpose.

Wadasiti Mountain (Wadasiti Kanda) is situated in Kataragama which is about 2500 feet high. 2 Km - Distance from Kataragama to Wadasiti Kanda. Truely Amazing View. Im offering you do not visit here before sunrise & do not leave here after the sunset.. coz it is hard to find the way to exit through mountain jungle Recommended.

Place is good but new transport method is extremely disappointing. Although anyone is free to walk in old path, rented vehicle cost is very high compared to the poor service provided.
