The gang that hangs out here harasses foreigners at night and there have been a number of cases of sexual assault here against young women. Avoid! The next door place, Bay Moon is safe as they won't let the troublemakers in.

I got fish with fries and veggies for Rs.1200 and a happy hour mojito for Rs.350 which all was good. We got our food within 20 minutes. The stuff was not super friendly but all in one did we enjoy food and the nice view.

Comically bad. Service poor and the kitchen was impressively slow even for the most basic dishes. The food itself was beyond lackluster and plain.

I stayed a few doors down from this restaurant/bar/hotel. I knew there would be a party and fully expected it to go late but when I woke up at 6AM to go whale watching after a night of being woke up constantly due to the loud music, the subs were still pounding away!!!
Three times over two days I tried to find a manager or owner to no avail. The staff working was rude to me and claimed not to have any contact info for anyone I could speak to about this.
As a nightlife professional I wanted the owner to know how he’s doing the entire beach and tourist industry a disservice when he allows party organizers to be so loud so late.
On one of my attempts to find the owner a hotel guest offered me cocaine.
So if you like d-bag, Miami style clubbing, ensuring that neither you nor your neighbors get any sleep, and downing delicious Sri Lankan nose beers with your mates. you’ll love this place!!!!response / report this review -

Very unfriendly staff, highly impolite. Waited a good 40 minutes to get a cocktail each, both were most unsavoury. After asking for the bill and not finishing the drinks, they sighed and took another 20 minutes before producing the final sum. Certainly recommend to skip this place.

The food is good, however waiting time more than 1,5 hours even when the restaurant is almost empty is just too much, especially when you want to enjoy your holiday time. The people next to us were waiting more than an hour just for a soup.If you like to have a good food and are fine with waiting almost 2h, than go for it, otherwise rather avoid this restaurant.
