First, when I contacted Ranga, to organize trip, payment, travel detalis and etc everything seemed a bit suspicious. But I thing it was just cultural differnces. :) Everything went according our plan.
We are very grateful for wonderful guide Harshana Jayawardane aka Jaya. :)
He took us to all planned places. Told us interesting facts and stories about visiting places. Told us, how to behave at sacred places and temples. Never let us down. Trustworthy Friend. If you read this, come to Lithuania, you are very welcome here. :)

Overall evaluation: Very good price and quality ratio. Recommended to all tourist friends!

Had a fabulous tour in Sri Lanka with Walksons Tour Company. Well-organised and the driver was brilliant. The luxury tented camp was a highlight: we had the whole camp to ourselves (2 of us) and a dinner under the stars by a bonfire. Great food and wine, excellent safari driving, a really enjoyable trip. I highly recommend them!

I had a group of 20 friends who intended to travel to Sri Lanka for a ten nights (10) holiday. I had planned the tour to coincide with the inter monsoon for good weather. I am a regular contributor to Trip Advisor with more than 200 reviews on all my travels all over the world as an avid traveller. Having scoured the net and checking through the reviews of various Travel Agents, I finally settled for Walksons tourists and got in touch with a gentleman called Ranga.
He formalised a customised tour for my group from 25th August till 4th Sept covering Anuradhapura / Jaffna / Trincomalee / Dambula / Sigiriya / Kandy / Nuwara Eliya / Colombo and Negombo.
It was a magical tour with the services of an English speaking guide throughout the trip. The hotels were great. The Coach and the driver were excellent and the food provided as per the tour package was sumptuous and good. Walksons tourists were very accommodating to our requests and I can vouch for their authenticity. On our part, we made sure that we made no unwarranted demands beyond what was in our agreed itinerary. In one instance in Trincomalee ( refer to my review on Trip Advisor) when the dinner at the Cardamon Hotel was horrible, they took us to a nearby beach restaurant ( Shiva’s) for us to have our sea food meal. They had actually gone out of their way to ensure that we were well looked after.
We have made many friends and I for one am very thankful and grateful to Ranga and Walksons tourists for the fantastic holiday in Sri Lanka. I am planning another tour to Sri Lanka to cover the Southern part including Galle and I am most certainly getting Ranga and Walksons tourists to customise my tour again.
Thank you Ranga and these greetings come from all 20 of us who fell in love with Sri Lanka.
We missed the whales inTrinco and hopefully will be able to see them down South.

We booked with Walksons and our driver was Pradeep Gamage (Gama). He was superb! Booking with a Sri Lankan agent is much cheaper than booking a holiday/tour with a UK based travel agent. It is hassle free compared to sorting your own travel on overcrowded buses and trains. You can suggest an itinerary or length of stay and accommodation standard and they will sort out a route, timings and book everything (hotels, guides & entrance fees). Our driver, Gama, was on hand at all the right moments and discretely stepped back to let us enjoy our experiences together (wife and I).

We found Walksons on the web when we decided on a tour of Sri Lanka.
It was a wonderful decision to go with this company as right from the very beginning Mr Ranga made us feel comfortable. He gave us the opportunity to make changes where we thought necessary. In our case it was an earlier start on the last morning than we had first planned. Our driver for 12 days became our friend and introduced us to the wonderful culture and history of Sri Lanka. Thankyou for helping make our time in Sri Lanka so memorable Mr Ranga.
