We visited this place with the intention of spending our last night before departing Sri Lanka. However the Airbnb listing felt somewhat inaccurate.
The family is truly welcoming, and they will serve you lovely food during your stay. It's also possible to book tours around the island with them.
We arrived on a very hot day which made the bedroom quite unbearably hot, something the ceiling fan was unable to fully alleviate.
The listing also alluded to a pleasant shaded beach quite nearby, and the airport being 15 minutes away. Unfortunately none of these proved true.
Should you plan a stay here, try to ask for their AC room, and do not anticipate spending much time on the beach.
But if that's okay, you will meet a very authentic and welding Sri Lankan family.response / report this review -
