Fabulous views, spacious room, good breakfast which is served on your private balcony (although no privacy), extremely noisy (Kandy train 10m in front of the house), nice host family, walking distance from city - recommended.

A great little home hotel. A wonderful owner, he speaks English. Local fresh breakfast. Amazing view from the terrace to the waterfall.

Simple and basic but taking in account the low price, just awesome. The best part ist the breakfast served on the room's balcony with a view.

Ruwan is such an amazing and helpful host. Always smiling and willing to help. The room is exactly as advertised but the view is not justified by pictures. You get a delicious breakfast on your patio, overlooking Ella Rock. Truly mesmerizing view. You are close to rail tracks and can watch hikers on their way to and from Ella Rock all day. There are no trains at night, so noise is not an issue. Location is great, very close to Matey Hut (best restaurant in Sri Lanka) and the busy area.

Amazing breakfast and super friendly owners.

You’ll trek a short bit from the center but everything here makes it totally worth it. The view from the balconies are simply beautiful.

Ruwan was incredibly welcoming and friendly, this is a great place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing place in the mountains with a great view and great food :)
- if you're walking here from the train station, be aware that there it is on a new road and does not show on Google Maps. You walk up the hill on Kitalella road from the station, and then take a left (use your instinct..)
