  Finding a parking slot is a really hard task. Since its in front of Thurstan college police wont allow to park at road. As well as sometimes its crowded by students. But they do have really nice collection of books. As well as their staff if very supportive and kind. They know how to talk to customers.

  Colombo doesn't have a huge selection of bookstores and books. Hence this review garners a 3 stars. This VY Thurston Road outlet is everything you don't want a bookstore to be. It is claustrophobic and cramped and not in a cosy corner bookstore kind of way. The books displayed lack proper sorting and consumer visibility. They have a reasonable collection of books and boast they will order anything you require. But in that case you might as well use Amazon as I did. They have a upstairs section which is wasted on stationery and other nick nacks. This place is crying out to be shaken up and organised. I have seen better places in Colombo.

  There are good stuff too. But the place is a mess. I had a bad experience here. The watercolours I got from this place was was hardened. The selection is not very wide. However the fiction section was good.

  Situated in a convenient place where you can leisurely park and shop.
  The staff is extremely helpful and kind; their manager is a wonderful person.
  They helped me not only for purchasing but they burned my Credit card points which were about to expire (even the bank didn’t care to inform-HSBC). So I paid zero!
  The only drawback is that the place is grossly disorganized and dusty even with the A/C.
  All n all I’m very pleased.

  Small book shop, but good selection of books. The staff is very helpful. You can also buy office supply there.
