  It's tourists place it's Hindu and Buddhist temple, need to climb the hill about two km, so interesting place.

  Situated 2500 feet high on Wadasiti Mountain (Wadasiti Kanda) and 4Km from south-east of Kataragama.According to the history. God Katargama had lived in the mountain long ago and had thrown an arrow from there where the Kataragama Maha Devalaya was later built. This temple is a sacred location to both Buddhists and Hindus and it will take two hours of walk to reach the peak of the mountain where there is more than just beautiful scenery to observe. We however opted for the open truck stuffed to the maximum with people ride through the rocky, bumpy and dusty road to arrive at the hilltop.
  
  First thing first, we offered prayers, thereafter walked around the whole area and gazed at the far and beyond absolutely mind blowing view. Subsequently, we rested for a while, returned back to the ground level
