  One of the main stations of northern railway line. Only 200 meters to Kanady-Jaffna highway. Located at middle of the Vauniya city. Easy access to most of government institutions and major banks. Conveniently located for train travellers.

  Vavuniya railway station is in the city of Vavuniya in northern Sri Lanka. Owned by Sri Lanka Railways, the state-owned railway operator, the station is part of the Northern Line which links the north with the capital Colombo. The popular Yarl Devi service calls at the station.

  Clean, calm and nice place. Friendly staff, you can stay freely till your train arrives. Best way to travel Colombo because train is the fastest way to reach colombo.

  It is not bad. Easy traveling, here all officers are kindly talk and quite our travel. Small canteen, bus stand 1km to A9 road. You can do any work in battle area. Passport office very soon

  Located quite outstanding place for all of our needs!
  Recently it has been renovated and looks standard station! Need more chairs to accommodate everyone who waits for train to arrives!
