The best beach you can go to in Sri Lanka during summer for swimming. This is not the place to do surfing, but it is ideal for swimming. Waves are gentle, the sand is great and smooth, weather is spectacular. Beach is busy in afternoons, but there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. At night, there are some beach parties too. Great beach.

Perfect and beautiful beach which is almost empty :) water is clean and also beach is good. Sometimes you can meet a cow but why not :)

Nice beach. But there is too many boats on the beach. Also there is some restaurants and diving centers.

High season is June-Sept for this beach located in East of Sri Lanka. Very close to famous Nilaveli Beach. Not busy as South Sri Lanka and hotels are less expensive. Great place to visit and enjoy your time in this beach.
